She had just drunk the potion from the sippy cup.
She felt incredibly relaxed all over. Even though the anesthetic had worn off, she felt no pain at all.
She ran her hands over the incision on her abdomen.
She discovered the incision had already healed.
She knew that three Healers had just been using their Superpowers to treat her with all their might.
With the Healers present, she had lost very little blood.
But the recovery of her internal wounds and the disappearance of her weakness had only begun after she drank that potion.
There were no postoperative side effects whatsoever.
Vera Coleman even wondered if she had really given birth to two little lives.
"How are you feeling?"
Nina Jacobs asked.
Daniel Hale was holding Vera Coleman's hand, silently wiping away his tears.
He saw Vera Coleman smiling.
But he felt she must be forcing a smile.
"Just like you said. I feel great."
