Nathan was woken up by a buzzing sound made by the collective chattering of other prisoners.
His cell door was open and he walked out. Everyone was busy, some cleaned their cells, others were having conversations and others played board games.
As he looked around his eyes met with a group that was looking his way. He saw them climb up the stairs and he walked in the opposite direction.
As he was getting down the stairs he bumped into an older man with balding hair.
"You are not one of them," the man said and grabbed Nathan by the arm. He snatched his arm and quickly walked away.
The old man followed him. Nathan stood facing a cell as he tried to hide.
"What did you do to get the shifters on your tail?" the old man said and Nathan quickly turned.
"What do you want?" Nathan asked.
"It's nice to see someone normal for a change," the old man explained.
Nathan looked at him with a frown and the old man chuckled.
"You really are clueless," the old man said and shook his head.
"So what are you?" Nathan asked.
"I'm human just like you," the man replied.
"What is a human doing here?" Nathan asked.
"I could ask you the same question," the old man replied.
"I was framed, what's your story?" Nathan mentioned.
"Some powerful people put me here," the old man explained.
Nathan saw the people looking for him pass and he turned to hide his face.
"Let's talk in my cell," the old man suggested.
"I'm Alexander Wilhelm," the old man introduced himself.
"Nathan Payne," he said in kind.
"Payne, a legacy hunter. I get it," the old man sympathized.
"You know of my family?" Nathan asked a little excited.
"Never had the privilege to meet a Payne but I heard stories," the old man explained.
"I guess I'm the only one who didn't know about my family," Nathan lamented.
"What was the point?" a voice said and Nathan looked at the doorway to see the group of people who were after him.
He quickly got up.
"You are in my territory," Alexander warned.
"Stay out of this old man," a man with glowing yellow eyes said.
"Werewolf, Familiar, Wendigo, and Skinwalker," Alexander said pointing at each one.
"Kill the hunter, the Grimm is mine," the werewolf said.
