"Who is that?" Maryann whispered to Claire and they both turned and looked at Nathan.
"I'll go check on Jane," Nathan said and walked out.
He roamed the halls fake-smiling at everyone. After a while, he started to blow raspberries.
"Miss Sullivan?" he asked and a woman pointed at a door.
Nathan knocked and walked in.
"Jane?" he called out and saw her through the mouth of an open door.
He was walking towards her when he noticed she was on the phone.
"Tell Mr Weatherby it was my pleasure," Nathan overheard Jane say.
"Weatherby, why are you talking to my father's killer?" Nathan barged in and asked.
"I doubt Mr Weatherby killed your father. We were all acquaintances," Jane explained.
"He may not have personally killed him but he is involved somehow," Nathan's chest heaved.
"Do you know everything that is happening in your father's companies?" Jane asked.
"What does that have to do with anything?" Nathan barked.
"Mr Weatherby own's significant more than your father," Jane mentioned.
"Still we should be treating him and his entire circle like suspects," Nathan argued.
"Mr Weatherby is a powerful man. There is a way things are done with people like that," Jane explained.
Nathan shook his head and walked out. He ordered a ride as he made his way to the main gate.
When he got there he waited less than five minutes before his taxi arrived. He got in and was taken home.
"If she is not going to do anything about it, I will," Nathan said.
He used the Providence to search for properties of the Weatherbys. The Eye of Providence gave him a list of companies and bank accounts connected to the Weatherbys.
"When she said they had companies, she wasn't kidding," Nathan said to himself as he scrolled through the list.
"Where do I even start?" he said just before scrolling past a couple of companies," the list taunted him.
'Jane talked about a place they hold monsters,' Nathan typed in prison in the search bar and the list shrank.
Among the three results was the only prison the Weatherbys owned in the United States.
"Found it, now I'll need a way in," he smiled as he stared at the screen.
'There are only two ways in. As a guard or as an inmate,' Nathan stared at the screen as his mind wandered.
"I guess I have only one choice. Going into a monster prison will be a death sentence," he whispered to himself.
Nathan went to the Rotham Prison website and searched for guard job vacancies.
"Wait, background checks, six months of training, and a written exam. That will take forever," Nathan said as he read the requirements.
'I need to meet someone in person I can convince to fast-track things,' a name popped into Nathan's head.
"Uncle Charlie might be able to help," Nathan said and took out his phone.
"Uncle Charlie, sorry for not calling you after the funeral," Nathan apologised.
"It's fine, you had a lot on your plate. How can I help you," Uncle Charlie said on the other side of the phone call.
"I need your help getting a job at Rotham Prison," Nathan explained.
"Should I ask why?" Uncle Charlie said but Nathan remained quiet.
"I'll see what I can do, give me a week," Uncle Charlie added.
"Thanks," Nathan hung up.
