"You skipped the whole 'are they or aren't they' rumor phase and went straight for the official announcement," Sophie Sheridan said. "Everyone's saying there wasn't a single hint before he suddenly staked his claim. It's not like other people who start with some vague, fake rumors and then make a big announcement to confirm them."
Lianne laughed and teased, "A big announcement? You make it sound like winning a championship."
"For the second Sinclair son, getting you as a girlfriend *is* like winning a championship, isn't it?" Sophie said with conviction.
The other wealthy socialites watched as Evan Caldwell bustled about, personally mixing a Sangria for Lianne.
They wondered if he was only so attentive because she was Seth Sinclair's girlfriend.
"Little Lia, your drink." Evan sat on the sofa across from Lianne and Sophie. The wine-red liquid in the highball glass swirled refreshingly.
Lianne thanked him and slowly raised the glass to take a sip.
