Ivy Holden was lost in Jensen's embrace, dizzy and disoriented, when a knock came at the door.
Jensen Morrison frowned. "Who is it?!" he asked in a low voice.
"Director Morrison, you left your phone in the car," Phoebe Buck said.
"Just hold on to it for now," Jensen said impatiently.
'His phone? So what? It wouldn't matter if he just threw it away.'
"Your phone keeps ringing," Phoebe Buck insisted from outside the door, her tone making it clear she wouldn't leave until Jensen opened up.
Ivy Holden seized the opportunity to break free from his arms, grabbing the first-aid kit and going to open the door.
"Uh… Chief." Phoebe Buck wasn't surprised to see Ivy Holden at all; the clear look in her eyes told Ivy she was there to ruin the moment.
Ivy Holden smiled and patted Phoebe Buck's shoulder. "I'll see if I can get Director Morrison to give you a part-time salary for this," she whispered.
