Sheldon Spencer had never been treated so roughly in his entire life. He lost his cool for a moment and shrieked, "Who the hell do you think you are? You dare take me away? I'm warning you, you'd better let me go. Or else I'll destroy your entire family!"
Bobby Yates said calmly, "Excellent. I've recorded everything you just said."
Ivy glanced at Jensen, thinking, 'When did you get to know someone so awesome?'
Jensen saw her pale face and completely misinterpreted her look. He bent down, scooped Ivy up into his arms, and said, "It's okay. I'm here."
'What's with the showboating? I was perfectly fine on my own.'
Ivy rolled her eyes, but she had to admit being carried was indeed easier. That intense bout of bashing earlier had really tired her out.
"I suspect this man is connected to my mother's death. Have your friend interrogate him thoroughly," Ivy said softly.
"Okay," Jensen replied.
