"Of course. Did you expect me to just stand by and watch you two get slandered?" Brooke Morrison said with a smile.
Ivy Holden suddenly felt her gratitude was a bit misplaced. 'Even if she wasn't doing it for me, she would've done it to clear Jensen's name.'
"Yes, you're right. Well, we should get going," Ivy Holden said, standing up.
"Ivy," Brooke Morrison said, also standing. "It's so late. Why don't you stay? There's something I'd like to talk to you about."
"Then I should..." Nathan Rowan looked at Ivy Holden.
"You can head back. Come pick me up tomorrow morning."
"Alright. Goodnight, Auntie Morrison." Nathan Rowan nodded to Brooke Morrison, took his car keys, and left.
"Auntie Morrison, if there's something you want to say, please be direct," Ivy Holden said, leaning back in her chair.
"Just a moment. I'm going to get something to show you." With that, Brooke Morrison went upstairs and came back down with a photo album.
