Early the next morning, Ivy Holden first went with Nathan Rowan back to the Conservatory of Music to check on Grandpa Holden. After confirming he was all right, she called June Grant, and they hailed a car to head back to The Villas at Greenwood Estates. Ever since witnessing the truck crush the Maybach with her own eyes the day before, she had decided she wouldn't be driving for a while.
"Ivy, I should have gone to congratulate Grandpa Holden on his birthday. I had my clothes all picked out, but my mom drafted me into service—she actually made me go clean her kindergarten. Tell me, am I really her biological daughter?" June Grant pouted as she complained.
"As far as I can tell, you are her biological daughter. But if you want a DNA test, I can help you book an appointment. The Zimmers Group has a private hospital with all the latest state-of-the-art equipment."
"Get outta here! You can tell I'm her flesh and blood just by seeing that I'm as gorgeous as my mom!"
