Although Ivy Holden was dying to know why Carson Holden was meeting with Justin Jacobs, she figured they wouldn't talk about it in front of her. So, after sitting down for a couple of sips of tea, she got up. "I'm meeting someone for dinner. You two go on without me. I'm leaving."
"Wait a minute," Carson Holden called out to her. "The matter I was discussing with Lawyer Jacobs actually concerns you. Since you're here, you might as well sign it."
"Huh?" 'What's this all about?' Ivy Holden wondered.
"I own a small amount of Zimmers Group stock. Since you need money right now, I'll go ahead and transfer it to you. It's not a lot, but the annual dividends will be enough for spending money." As he spoke, Carson Holden pushed the folder on the table over to Ivy Holden. "And it just so happens Lawyer Jacobs is here. You sign it, and he'll take care of the rest."
"How do you own stock in Zimmers Group?" Ivy Holden asked, puzzled.
