"Wow, that was incredible. I was totally floored," Qiong'an couldn't help but exclaim after they got back to the room.
Ultimately, Shi Li had fixed the circuit, and the male had the good sense to bow his head and admit his mistake.
He had earned her forgiveness.
Only then did Shi Li lead the group back to the room to rest.
"You're exaggerating. It was nothing," Shi Li said, not having expected Qiong'an to have such a strong reaction.
"I'm not exaggerating at all! That's the first time I've ever seen you look that cold." Qiong'an had turned into a complete fanboy, batting his eyes as he scooted closer to Shi Li.
"Okay, okay. Did I scare you?" Shi Li was so amused by his reaction she didn't know whether to laugh or cry. She decided to play along and gave his head a soothing pat.
Qiong'an lapped it up, a grin of pure bliss stretching from ear to ear.
"No, I'm not scared. I just think you're so amazing." This was a sincere compliment.
