Damian Xavier rolled down the car window. Without even glancing up, he said in an ice-cold tone, "Get in. Sit in the back."
Mya Walsh didn't dare to object. She immediately pulled open the car door and got into the back seat, her expression a mixture of hurt and fear.
Damian Xavier glanced at her in the rearview mirror, his gaze frosty.
"Don't use my mother to get what you want ever again," Damian Xavier warned in a low voice. His sharp eyes were deep and dark, like an endless abyss that no one dared to gaze into.
Mya Walsh shivered. She opened her mouth, wanting to explain, but couldn't find the right words. In the end, she just nodded obediently.
Damian Xavier dropped her off at her home and left immediately, not even entertaining Mya Walsh's invitation to come up for a cup of tea.
Mya Walsh immediately sent a message to the private investigator she'd hired, telling them to track Damian Xavier's whereabouts.
