Even though both the Russian workers were trying to manage everyone to the best of their abilities There was suddenly a large hissing noise from the boiler and the operator who was only to operate the boiler for only two days before this started to panic which spread amongst other workers and it needed one of the Russian present to scream at them at the top of his lungs after which he bled the steam line and stabilized the pressure and restarted the heating cycle, He then patiently explained to the operator the idle temperatures and pressures to maintain and returned back to his station.
One of crew members with Vladimir had explained to the people surrounding what had happened and even mentioned it could have been way more dangerous if the worker had not resolved it quickly as pressure could be built up which could even have led to a small scale explosion. Vladimir and Arjun meanwhile were thankful for it to not happen and were impressed by how calm the guy was while dealing with the issue.
What they did not see however was the guy in question was dripping buckets as only he knew for sure that Vladimir would have pinned this on him had something gone wrong. He had seen plenty of such things happen back home and did not want such fate to befall on him making him perform at one hundred and twenty percent alertness which made him realize the issue as soon as he heard the sound.
The next problem arose while packaging as some of the pouches were not properly sealed due to sealing pressure or temperature being wrong which was slowly resolved by trial and error by adjusting heat level and sealing pressure for every batch of ten pouches. By the time they got to their fifth batch they were able to finally resolve the packaging issue.
Still the Russian workers complained about there being too much waste but since it was only the first run they promised Vladimir to resolve it in the upcoming runs of the day and Arjun and his partners were finally able to see the packaged final products.
They tried a couple of them and made sure they all tasted the same and the pouches had same amount of liquid inside after which both of them came out of the factory.
Vladimir had enquired Arjun about the sales of this batch but Arjun replied they were not meant for sales but instead he was going to distribute them in his and the surrounding villages, as for the upcoming batches after their main launch they had to negotiate more with the beverage distributors.
Arjun wanted to make his own distribution chain but it was still too early for those lofty ideals and he was going to take it slow and start from his own district he mentioned to Vladimir who was satisfied by the reply. After all it was better to have some kind of plan instead of having no plan at all.
Arjun then invited Vladimir to his home for lunch while the others in the crew were arranged lunch at Madan's office where a couple of local women had already prepared their lunches thanks to Bhargav's prior arrangements.
Arjun did not want to burden his mother too much and he made her cook only for Vladimir as this would help bring them much closer to which Vladimir had no complaints about.
When Vladimir entered Arjun's home Sari who was running to hug Arjun suddenly stopped and returned to hide behind Kavitha's back. It was some what understandable as compared to the other two Russian workers who had dined at an earlier date Vladimir was much more bulkier and scarier too.
Vladimir who was used to such treatment from new kids did not mind it and instead took out a pack of sweets he had made his crew prepare earlier in town and handed it Kavitha with curtesy.
Then he took out a glass hairpin which had an engraving of a small peacock on it and handed it Sari who was afraid at first but looking at the beautiful violet hair pin she couldn't stop herself and took it and asked Arjun to put it up while Vladimir observed with a smile on his face.
Once Pratap had returned they started their lunch which was made of the traditional south Indian lunch but alongside Kavitha's special Biryani.
Vladimir enjoyed the lunch much more than he did on the outside messes, even though it was a little more spicier he could feel how much effort and care Kavitha had put into it just by looking at the various colored assortment of curries in front of him.
What made him more happier was seeing the entire family of four not treating him like an outsider and still going on with their usual banter giving him a deeper insight into Arjun's daily life.
He could not remember the last time his family assembled for a routine lunch or dinner like this unless it was a party or an occasion. His father being a business owner had to be at different places which even though helped them make plenty of money, he too wished for him to spend more time with them when he was a kid.
Now he some what understood why Pratap did not want to involve Arjun in his affairs but what Pratap failed to understand was if kids get a right to share their families fortune then it automatically validates them to get involved in families troubles too.
Though Vladimir was no longer interested in sharing the information he learned with Arjun as he had already informed Pratap about this and it was no longer his responsibility. Still he whole heartedly wished they could get through the issues without anything going wrong.
Once they were done with the lunch and the following Pan Arjun accompanied Vladimir back to Vijayawada as he could not find accommodations good enough for his foreign friend. Even though Vladimir mentioned it was not going to be an issue as he too had served in military, Arjun knew how tough it would be for foreigners to sleep in the heat and insisted in following the guy back to town.
