"Let's go, let's go." Gu Ning was in high spirits, eagerly pushing her little bird out the door.
As they were putting on their shoes, Gu Ning remembered something. She held her palm out to the Little Fairy Bird, who was tying her shoelaces for her.
Philinos glanced at her hand and asked, "What is it?"
Gu Ning wiggled her fingers.
Philinos paused for a moment, then took a bag of Crystal Stones from his satchel and placed it in Gu Ning's hand.
The bag of Crystal Stones was so full and heavy that Gu Ning nearly dropped it.
"The mate application. I want to see it." Gu Ning didn't know whether to laugh or cry. She stuffed the Crystal Stones back into his bag, fiddled with the little bird doll hanging from the satchel, and looked up. "Let me see it."
