Gu Ning was dazed as Philinos pulled her along. By the time she came to her senses, she was already in the water.
Her clothes were scattered on the bank, piled together with Philinos's.
Gu Ning's gaze swept over the long, bare torso in front of her. She crossed her arms and silently turned her back.
The feeling and warmth of the Little Fairy Bird's fingers grazing her skin as he'd undressed her just moments ago still lingered.
Philinos watched Ning turn her back to him. He squeezed some body wash into his hands, lathered it, and brushed aside the hair scattered across her back. He then spread the soap on her skin, rubbing it in gently.
His warm, almost-hot palms made Gu Ning shiver involuntarily.
"Are you cold?" Philinos stopped rubbing.
Gu Ning hummed an "mm" and sank a little deeper into the water.
'It wasn't actually that cold.'
Even though it was the dead of winter, with snow covering the ground and them bathing outdoors, the hot spring was very warm.
