Shirley Thorne didn't hear Ethan Grant's question at all. She was completely captivated by his cold, yet teasing, eyes.

Ethan Grant frowned in displeasure. The teasing look in his eyes had vanished, replaced by a faint anger.

Her eyes curved into crescents as she gave him a fawning smile. Squinting, she said, "Phoebe Ainsworth isn't worthy of you. It's my fault. Please don't mind me, haha!"
