🌑 Episode 11
The Game Isn't Over
Three weeks had passed since the night at the warehouse.
The city slowly returned to normal.
News channels stopped talking about Project Phoenix, and people moved on with their lives.
But for Ariba, nothing felt normal.
She sat in the university library, staring at her laptop screen.
The case was officially closed. Mr. Rahman was in prison.
Yet that message still echoed in her mind.
"This isn't over."
Ryan had also disappeared after the arrest.
No one knew where he was.
Some said he was helping investigators.
Others believed he had left the country.
Ariba closed the file she had been reading.
Her instincts told her something was still wrong.
Suddenly her phone vibrated.
An unknown number.
Her heart started beating faster.
She opened the message.
A single line appeared on the screen.
"Meet me where it all began."
Below it was a location.
The old university rooftop.
Ariba froze.
That place held too many memories —
the first time she met Ryan…
the first time she trusted him.
Night fell as she climbed the quiet stairs to the rooftop.
The wind was cold.
And someone was already there.
Ryan.
He stood near the edge, looking at the city lights.
"You came," he said without turning around.
Ariba crossed her arms.
"You sent the message."
Ryan slowly turned to face her.
His eyes looked different now — tired, but determined.
"There's something you still don't know," he said.
Ariba's voice was cold.
"I know enough lies already."
Ryan shook his head.
"This isn't about lies anymore. It's about survival."
He pulled a small flash drive from his pocket and held it out.
"Project Phoenix wasn't the real plan."
Ariba frowned.
"What do you mean?"
Ryan looked directly into her eyes.
"The real project… is still running."
Before Ariba could respond, a loud sound echoed from below.
Car doors slamming.
Voices.
Someone else had come.
Ryan's expression changed instantly.
"They found us."
"Who?" Ariba asked.
Ryan grabbed her wrist and pulled her toward the stairway.
"The people behind Phoenix."
From the rooftop edge, dark figures began moving toward them.
Ariba realized one terrifying truth.
Mr. Rahman had only been a piece of the puzzle.
And now—
The real game had just begun.
