Victor Hale slowly walked toward them.
"You're both very impressive," he said.
"But the game ends tonight."
Ariba stood protectively in front of Ryan.
"You've already lost," she said.
Victor raised an eyebrow.
"Oh really?"
Ariba held up her phone.
"The flash drive is already uploaded to the cloud."
Victor's smile slowly disappeared.
"Impossible."
Ariba's eyes were fearless now.
"By tomorrow morning… the entire world will know about Project Phoenix."
For the first time—
Victor looked nervous.
Suddenly police sirens echoed outside the warehouse.
Red and blue lights flashed through the broken windows.
Ryan laughed softly.
"Looks like the game is over."
Victor turned toward the exit, but police officers stormed inside.
Within seconds he was surrounded.
The empire of Phoenix was finally collapsing.
Ariba looked at Ryan.
"Now it's really over."
Ryan smiled.
"For real this time."
But far away, inside a dark office, someone watched the news on a screen.
The man slowly closed the laptop.
"Victor failed."
He leaned back in his chair.
"Time to start Phoenix Reborn."
