Chapter 13 - The horrendous being

A dull red flame that blazed with endless fury stood in front of Kiria as he now fully turned around to see what his body warned him to run from.

He wasn't scared rather more interested than scared. hm, could it seem to be that Kiria had experienced a fear so great that his mind fell ill to a proper response for this? As he studied it he realized that it towered over him at heights even the current Lowesians never bore with average man spanning at over 6 feet tall and the average woman spanning at over 5'11 feet tall. Which technically meant that he lived in a world full of miniature giants.

Nonetheless this flame was different. It towered over him at height that he quite couldn't read. A skill he gained from the years he spent stunting in his in initial height growth as he learned how to at least determine from all the people, he met over the past few bits of this olid. He wanted to push back and at least try to see how tall this thing was. Although he felt a strange premonition that told him two things. One, that this thing was actually a person and two, if he were to move anything that wasn't his eyes or ears. And surprisingly enough-

EXHALE!

This premonition, this cursed one that was oh so painfully was right. Just happened to screw his already mind even further.

"Ki-ll th-em!" An appallingly shattered voice said with a weight that instantly invoked and erased sudden feelings within him. He didn't know what they were but for all he wanted to know.

"K-i-ll th-em a-all!"

He just needed to know to get out of this nightmare.

"K-I-!!!"

And as if someone heard him, he was snapped back into his world as the dull scent of the regular fresh air of Lowesia stung him back to reality as if just on time when all the first group of candidates was fully assembled. They were told to get into the shrine no faster than he could even think to catch on to what was happening. Ans luckily enough, his body seemed to have a mind if its own as it moved forward steadily and orderly.

The steps of each one of the 140 candidates was coordinated and united as they made their way into the temperance shrine. Its magnificent structure was all but a compliment to the grace of this blissful yet strange and necessary ceremony. Its pillars were made with the finest of hard cement in tall standing cylindrical shape as they towered at heights of up to 15 feet tall. They were designed with cultural engravements and patterns that truly felt like they told as story only those from the Kakera tribes could understand. The roof was made with made with material that the abundant scorch of the Lowe Star to cast down and upon the bodies of the candidates as they waited to take their turn

*Lowe Star is their way of calling it the sun.

And as expected, small square mats were aligned from side to side as the candidates moved to their assigned in the evenly spaced paths that lain between the mats. They all knelt down with their hand together and their heads bowed.

But all left with their eyes open as it is suggested and proven that when candidates close their eyes it can subconsciously lead them into a state of meditation which can pull them away from their constant emotional tensity which in turn can lead to fatal death when in the moon realm.

The ceremony started as soon as the two overseers of the event arrived. And in came the tribal priest, he stood at a height of over six feet tall. He walked with a wooden staff whose bark was a dump lead color. His physique was fairly well as he was clad in a robe and woolen over coat made in the same material as the candidates. What he wore was dyed and designed with colors of red, crimson and a deep gray. He wore ankle bracelets that jingled faintly as he stepped into and towards the heritage stan.

And right after him entered the tribal head clan chief. Who stood at a height of over 8 feet tall. His steps caused a slight rumble that wavered throughout the entirety of the shrine as he entered. His bore ebony skin that effortlessly absorbed the abundant radiance of the ever-shining Lowe star above. His eyes were white and healthy as bore irises that were a dark brown marble in contrast to his eyes themselves that glistened under the abundant shine of the Lowe star. His hair was black and plaited in dreads that reach only until the end of his lower neck area. He was clad in the same outfit as the priest with only difference to his wear was that he had a white cotton cloth tied around his lower arm area up unto the halves of all his fingers with bracelets made of marble black beads.

He moved after the priest and sat down on the left of the temperance/heritage stan. Their roles unknown. Their goals as clear as day. Their true objectives were to initiate the future warriors of the Kakera clans and usher them to be legends among the ranks. And their part in this? Well, it had all but merely just begun as they priest blared out, "Screw it all the damned excellence!"

As the candidates and chief followed, "Oh well oh well, we might as well just burn it all!"

He then added, "Eternal appraise to Brother Grok, the abundant flow of it all!"

As they responded, "Yes, we shall rage in the eternal gift of fury!"

As the chief then raised his hand and said, "Come forth, blessings of the furious age."

And then a candidate rose to their feet and walked from the front left corner of the of congregation all the way to a stool that was placed just a few inches from the stan. it was a tall slender girl who looked at the black blade that rested on the stool and knelt down and swiped it off with speed and carelessness. And to her right as she placed it in the priest's hand.

And as one would expect for the rest of this go smoothly as well, right? Well, let's just say what happened was truly terrifying. But not to Kiria for his mind was truly lost in furious blur of wonder and questions that swirled about in his mind. For his focus was on just one little but truly puzzling question, who or what, no he knew that was person so, ...

Who was that horrendous being? And why did it say all that?
