Chief Kakisa's POV----
His body trembled internally as it did it's best to hide the same sadness that welled up within him. Or at least what it felt like seeing this boy tremble from the eyes of the chief scanned him from up to down.
The chief to had high hopes for this boy. Because for the display of a show he put on earlier was quite rather intriguing if he had to say. He was actually sure that this boy would make it through. For in all his 2 olids of life, he had never seen the priest smile once. Not even after he himself was appointed as the chief/king.
His mind unconsciously flashbacked to the day he was being appointed as the new king of the Kakesh clan. He remembered the abundant shine if the Lowe star that radiated endlessly upon the people gathered. The men who stood next to their dross drums in straight lines as they awaited fro his arrival. And the women who were either wives, little girls, teenagers, middle aged women et cetera.
*Drosa drums are drums made in a three-dimensional shape with little hexagons all around it that were wrapped in the brown rough leather bare skin of Grotisha Pyths that's durable and makes for durable and surprisingly great hollow surfaces that allow sounds to made as the drums are fiercely beat to the rhythm of fury.
*Grotisha Pyths are beasts that have long streamed lined bodies that are wrapped in green glittery scales with fins like glass rock claws that store poisons that are lethal to even nine tooth beasts. Their heads bear two circular eyes that hold dark marble eyes with sharp blue colored irises. That seemingly to over 5m within its field vision.
*Beasts in the Ado Era were not able to be classified in terms of power rank until daring researchers and hundreds of livestock were sacrificed in order to make one critical discovery that helped end the Ado Era faster than expected. And that was the number if teeth each beast bore. Whether they belonged to a Great Blood, Primal Blood and or Wild Blood rank.
And due to the clan's relations with much harsher colors like black, crimson and vermillion they were forced to use the skin of Sindas that are very stretchy and durable when wet. So, under no circumstances must they ever be left in dry areas more than twenty days otherwise they'll dry and snap-on spot. They are also used due the fiery red glow they undertake when gashed with water under the radiant light of the Lowe star after their fur has been peeled off using Vyther Cleeves.
*Sildas are tiny creatures that stand at 12cm tall and long, with skins that bare dark brown fur that has the unique properties of prolonged conservation of water with anything it comes into contact with. These creatures really on their fur as they one and only hope of defense as it is said that if they even rub against the skin of any living thing their fur can quite literally suck the life out of anybody in Lowesia. It is in fact stated that these creatures are mainly located in the Moonlight Ever Iris. That greatest lake in Lowesia centered at the heart of the middle of Lowesia's eye, Apexia.
*Vyther is the main material for weapon manufacture in Lowesia. Followed by Haer and Osho Rock. These minerals and their roles will be explained later on as the story goes. But with reason of the use of vyther cleaves simply being because unlike the other minerals on Lowesia is not partially or barely composed of what we'd like to call spiritual essence.
The men were arranged in lines at the three main paths of Kayeshi town at the heart of Kavura City, which is referred to as the main Modern Kingdom of the Kakera clans. And so do the other clans as well. This is not only done for respect and formality but also because of a little majorly impacting folk tale that was spread on by Frok before his final breath.
On his death bed, it's said that his playful furiously mischievous niece who was only about one quarter of an olid old and had been staying by the side of her uncle who was passing away even before his children got see him in this world that quite blatantly existed in between existence itself. It is said that Frok had lived for over 11 olids and thus his time had run out. On his death its said that he looked at his niece, the child of his younger brother who had followed under him with a mask of obedience and order that was meant to cover up for the fury and greed that brimmed within as a result of not being chosen as an Ishikie, that she would be appointed the next priestess of the Kakera clans and that his Beast Servant would ensure that this would be followed with a heavy strictness. And so she asked why? Understanding what all this meant at such a young age.
His voice tabled violently as it uttered that it was because he wanted her to start something akin to a little charm cast that would give the upcoming kings the furious hopes that they had to have in order to truly and furiously lead the blessing of Grok, The brother of Abundance.
And that she would announce how this charm cast would work. But the goal of this cha cast was heavily aimed towards the clan's folk rather than the new upcoming chiefs. And that this would be called the charm of abundant presence which was meant to bless the Lowesians the most from any path the new chief travelled and arrived from.
Amd this blessing would last until the next crowning ceremony. And this was so that the those blessed by this charm would favor and serve the king more humbly than the usual Kakerian would.
Kakisa then remembers the occurrence of the ceremony and how tiresome it was to walk from the back of the town to the north by himself without getting lost by luck. He also remembered how the cheers if the falk that lain in the middle road of the city were as he made his onto the the crowning stage.
But one would ask why not have the crowning within the castle rather than here with all these peasants around? Well, it was simply because like honor stands proud even the filthiest hearts, so does the honorable love of the kings for their stands proudly as they faced hundreds of hundreds just to tell them that they can trust them with wither lives as common folk to their leaders.
He then remembered how rather more exhausted the priest looked rather than proud for him which infuriated him. For he was the youngest ever appointed at the age of one and a half parts of an olid.
And this infuriated him. So much that he might've been technically eating iron through out the entire ceremony as he bit down on his lip furiously without a word to say to this man who just could appraise him for this astounding achievement.
But his flashback soon tumbled back into reality as his gaze fell on him. The boy, the boy who put more of a show...
'Kakisa stands up as the wooden floor beneath him cheeks slightly a symbol that even this material could feel the weight of his fury.'
Than he needed to. He then walked forward once. His massive body covering what would take the average only two steps to achieve and for Kiria maybe about 4 to 5.
As he knelt slowly, his weight mocking against the durability of the wooden floor that lain beneath his massive body as his hand clamped onto the right shoulder of Kiria. As his head slowly turned down and to look at him. With a glint of what one would call a furious jealousy.
His eyes they caught sinething akin to what his mind to him what looked like desperation and so he smiled furiously not because he won an unconscious duel for recognition from the chief but because he was happy that he felt down.
But for all the priest and him knew was that.
"Let-let go of me please...," between his madly gritted teeth barely able to hold onto to his sanity.
"Why should I boy?"
"Because if you don't..."
And as for what had further been seen as further desperation was actually a denial.
One, because of the fury that boiled within.
And two,...
"He-," Kiria suddenly hung on his statement as his head fell and face disappeared into the shadow of his hair.
Was the denial he used as shield in his own battle against something truly horrifying.
But alas, for he....
