Chapter 15 - THIS TIME AROUND

CHAPTER 15: THE SURPRISE

The next morning, Amara arrived at school as usual.

She walked into her classroom and greeted her friends.

"Good morning, everyone!"

"Good morning, Amara!" they replied.

Amara noticed that something seemed different. Her classmates kept looking at her and smiling.

"What is going on?" she asked.

Daniel laughed.

"Nothing."

Amara looked at him suspiciously.

"I know something is happening."

Just then, their teacher entered the classroom.

"Good morning, class."

"Good morning, ma!" everyone answered.

The teacher smiled and asked Amara to come to the front.

Amara looked surprised.

"Me, ma?"

"Yes, Amara."

She walked to the front of the class.

Her teacher held up a certificate.

"Amara, I want to congratulate you once again for all your hard work and excellent performance."

The whole class began clapping.

Amara smiled shyly.

"But there is something else," the teacher continued.

Amara became curious.

"The school has decided to honour you during the school assembly."

Amara's eyes widened.

"Really?"

"Yes," her teacher replied.

The following morning, all the students gathered in the school hall.

The principal came forward and called Amara to the front.

"Amara has shown us that hard work, determination, and courage can lead to success," the principal said.

Everyone clapped.

Amara received a special award from the principal.

She looked at the award and smiled.

She remembered the girl she used to be.

She remembered the difficult Mathematics questions.

She remembered the competitions.

She remembered the mistakes she had made.

Most importantly, she remembered all the times she had refused to give up.

Author's thought:Amara's success did not happen in one day. It was the result of many small efforts. Every time she practised, learned from a mistake, or tried again, she was becoming stronger.

After the assembly, Amara returned to her classroom.

Her friends surrounded her.

"Congratulations, Amara!"

"You deserve it!"

Amara smiled.

"Thank you, everyone."

That afternoon, she went home and showed her mother the award.

Her mother hugged her proudly.

"I am so proud of you, Amara."

Amara smiled.

"Thank you, Mummy. I couldn't have done it without your encouragement."

That evening, Amara placed the award beside her books.

She looked at it for a moment and smiled.

She knew that she had come a long way.

But she also knew that there was still more for her to learn.

Amara picked up her Mathematics book and opened it.

"This is only the beginning," she said.

Author's thought:Amara had learned that success was not the end of the journey. It was the beginning of another one.

And as she turned the page of her Mathematics book, Amara wondered what the future would bring.

THE END… OR MAYBE, A NEW BEGINNING. 🌟📖
