CHAPTER 14: THE SCHOOL PROJECT
A few days later, Amara arrived at school and noticed that her classmates were gathered around their teacher.
She walked closer.
"What is happening?" Amara asked.
Her teacher smiled.
"We are starting a new school project."
Everyone became excited.
The teacher explained that the students would work in groups to create a project that would be presented at the school's academic exhibition.
Amara was placed in a group with Daniel and three other students.
At first, everyone had different ideas.
"I think we should do something about Mathematics," one student said.
"No, I think Science would be better," another replied.
Everyone began talking at the same time.
Amara raised her hand.
"Maybe we should listen to everyone's ideas before choosing one."
The group became quiet.
"That is a good idea," Daniel said.
One by one, everyone shared their ideas.
After discussing them, they finally agreed on a project.
They decided to create a simple project that showed how Mathematics could be used in everyday life.
They started working immediately.
Amara helped with the calculations, while the other students worked on different parts of the project.
However, they soon faced a problem.
Some of the materials they needed were not available.
"We can't finish this without them," one of the students said.
Amara thought for a moment.
"Maybe we can find another way. Let's use the materials we already have."
The group agreed.
They changed their plan and continued working.

The day of the exhibition arrived.
Parents, teachers, and students gathered around the school hall to see the different projects.
When it was their turn, Amara and her group stood in front of everyone.
Amara explained their project confidently.
When they finished, the audience clapped.
Her teacher smiled proudly.
"You all did a wonderful job."
Amara looked at her teammates.
She realised that the project had taught her something important.
Working together could make difficult things easier.
That evening, Amara went home feeling happy.
She had not only learned something new.
She had also discovered that teamwork, patience, and listening could help people achieve great things.
