My men are with me.
One of them came to pick me up with one of my own cars and they drove me to my burning building.
We stay at a distance as I watch my company burn to the ground.
I watch as orange flames swallow up what I built from the dust with my blood and sweat.
My alpha, crouching and raging, is burning with more heat than I am burning with.
My chest hurts. It feels like watching my mother die all over again. Shin Yechan has made a deep mark on my life again.
Twice in one lifetime is too much.
IT'S TOO FUCKING MUCH.
"Boss, your phone is vibrating" someone says, and I turn my attention to the ringing phone. It's a call from Junho.
"Taesan, where are you?" he asks with worry in his tone, and I don't respond. The sight of my own dream dying out is too much for my brain to process.
There are people all around, some of them are taking pictures, and others are live streaming as the firefighters do their work.
