I was awake when he left the room. I overheard him talking to himself in the bathroom, and I watched him pull on a pair of sweatpants that hid his ass from me.

"No…no fighting, Haeri-ya" Sooin mutters in her sleep as she rolls to the other edge of the bed.
With a chuckle, I reach out and pull her back, bringing her back to my side and kissing the top of her messy brown hair.
My little girl is growing too fast.
It used to be just me and her against the world and I used to be on edge like a fucking bulldog, always waiting to take a bite at anyone who would dare to come near my precious girl.
But now I can go to sleep right next to her. The quality of my messed-up life is getting better, isn't it?
