*Third Person POV*
After their heated make-out session in the kitchen, Livia and Aldus finally sat down to eat. For the first time in a long while, a meal felt peaceful — filled not with silence or tension, but with quiet glances and soft smiles neither of them had the courage to speak about.
When they finished, Aldus cupped her chin gently, pressing his forehead to hers for a moment.
"I'll finish my work quickly," he murmured.
"Go," she whispered back with a shy smile she didn't realize she wore.
His thumb brushed her lips — a silent promise — before he walked back to his office. Aldus doesn't want to walk away, after their shared moment, but as the King, he still has responsibility to take care of.
The moment he left, Livia exhaled slowly. Calm. Warm. Safe.
Then she stepped outside, smiling brightly like every problem she had before, washing away.
That peaceful feeling faltered when she spotted Felly — Ria's friend — walking toward her.
