Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Keep it safe

In order to avoid getting himself killed, he wanted to stay away from any trouble.

After looking around, it had already taken him about five hours, but everything still seemed the same no matter where he went.

"What the heck is this? Why are these rabbits all the same?" he said, scratching his head in frustration.

He had tried his best to wander around and find some prey that he could easily kill, but all he found were those rabbits with blue eyes.

Sometimes, there were even ones that were taller than him, making him feel even more scared.

After stopping in his tracks, he began to think for a moment, and an idea suddenly struck him.

"Does the environment refer to the division of beast ranks?"

If he remembered correctly, when he was first spawned in this world, he appeared at the edge between the tall grassy area and the forest.

Then his only choice was to go into the forest if he wanted to level up, because if not, everything would go to waste.

With that, he started his journey, not going deeper into the plains but instead heading straight out of the grassy area, carefully avoiding the rabbits' detection.

After three long hours, he finally saw the trees, making him smile in relief.

"Finally! After the long and agonizing hours, I'm finally out," he said, with tears brimming in his eyes.

After walking non-stop, he decided to rest for a moment, just for a few minutes, since his legs ached badly.

If not for his regeneration, his legs would have been too numb and would have needed half an hour just to recover.

So without wasting any more time, he went inside.

As he entered he spotted a rabbit, but at first he did not rush forward yet since he was afraid it might be the same kind as before.

Looking at its eyes and seeing that they were only red, he breathed a sigh of relief and then quickly pounced on his target.

[Acceleration Activated]

Accompanied by a massive boost in speed and his mana ring spinning wildly, he moved so fast that he arrived much quicker than he had expected.

With a twist of his fist, he hurled a punch straight toward the rabbit's face, which was busy minding its own business and eating some grass.

Its awareness was far lower compared to those blue-eyed rabbits, so it did not notice that a fist was already just inches away from its face.

Slap!

Caught off guard, the damage was devastating. With Alexander's hands already as dense as rock, the impact hit with tremendous force.

The rabbit was flung about a foot away, and Alexander quickly used his heavy body to sit on top of it, then rained a series of punches onto its face.

Using only his fists, he smashed the beast's face leaving it gruesomely destroyed.

But he did not care, since this was all just a dream making it feel completely normal.

Losing its breathe, he then plundered the beast.

Then the familiar panel appeared making him filled with energy.

"Agility again? Seriously?" he could not help but feel his stomach turn in frustration.

Since he could not get strength or defense, he wondered why there was no magic.

Did a magic attribute not even exist?

He tried to rack his mind for a solution, and the idea that came to him was to hunt higher-level beasts.

But if he tried that now, he would just end up dying.

Since patience is a virtue then he must wait even if it will take him a long time, its okay as long as he can improve.

So after resting for a while to restore some of his mana, he then continued and its not a long time until he found another prey.

As he went on his killing spree, targeting every hopper that appeared in his sight, he could not help but feel really frustrated, since all the rewards were only in agility.

When he finally stood up after plundering the last hopper, he felt his mana ring vibrating wildly in his abdomen, and then something began to appear.

As the mana swarmed over that spot, another ring emerged.

Seeing this, Alexander knew that he had finally leveled up.

"Second Level of Mana Awakening?" he said feeling that his self was now much more powerful than before.

His body was now much faster, able to cover 30 meters in just a second.

With Acceleration already reaching a higher level of proficiency, his movements felt so fast it was almost like teleportation.

The struggle of hunting those normal rabbits had lost much of its difficulty, making him wonder if it was time to return to the grassy plains.

But when he remembered how sharp their senses were, and how strong and fast they could be, he realized that his current strength still might not be enough.

Then an idea struck him. With that, he began to look around, spotting some of those rabbits.

Of course, he did not waste any time and killed them as he continued to wander around, until he finally found what he was looking for.

In an open area, the same plant stood there and a hopper could be seen sniffing at the flower.

"Jackpot! Since it's always about agility, if I plunder this plant and improve my affinity with nature, I feel it will give me a greater boost in this plain," he muttered, as if struck by a sudden enlightenment.

Alexander did not waste any time and rushed forward, blasting himself ahead at full speed.

The hopper, who had been enjoying the calm moment raised its foot to block his fist.

Seeing the hopper block him so easily, he was surprised for a moment, but then his eyes lit up with fighting spirit.

Now that he had found a worthy opponent, he was very excited.

Withdrawing his fist, he swung his right leg in a sweep, but the rabbit did not retreat and met his attack head-on, blocking his leg with its own.

The air shook as the rabbit and the human faced off.

With precise movements, Alexander swept his legs while exchanging rapid fist-to-fist strikes with the beast.

The rabbit, even though it was facing attacks from both hands at the same time, moved its legs so fast that it completely blocked each strike.

It stared at the human with a confused expression.

This was the first time it had seen something with two long legs and arms, and with no fur at all, leaving it completely puzzled.

But after seeing that this beast was an aggressive one, he began to take the fight seriously as it fought back with much more vigor.

Alexander was shocked when he noticed the rabbit's momentum suddenly growing much stronger.

He was caught off guard, and before he could react, a flash of the rabbit's feet struck his face.

Smack!

It hit him squarely in the face, sending him flying upward, but he managed to balance himself as he descended.

Blood ran from his nose as he looked at the beast with a grave expression.

It was shocking that he, a fat guy, could move like a snake.

The way he fought was nothing like what anyone would expect from someone of his size.
