"Mr. Churchill, this is the list of functioning government accredited bases," the assistant said, handing him a tablet. "Each of those bases has been equipped with supplies, emergency infrastructure, and tight security. The final inspections were completed this morning."
Blake accepted the tablet without looking up immediately.
"How many?"
"Forty-three operational. Twelve more are still undergoing reinforcement."
"What about other cities?"
The assistant immediately pulled up another report.
