A scream so raw and broken came from outside. Everyone's heads snapped in the direction...
CRASH!
A man slammed against the hotel's glass entrance from the outside. Blood exploded across the transparent doors.
The entire lobby erupted into screams.
The man slid downward, leaving a blood trail behind him.
For a brief second, everyone thought he was dead. Then he moved. His fingers clawed frantically against the glass.
"Help me!" he screamed.
His voice was hoarse and desperate. He wore the Black Vanguard uniform, but without his head mask.
"Open the door! Please! Please let me in!"
"John?" one of the Black Vanguard murmured, stunned. "Open the door!" he barked a command, about to rush towards the entrance.
"Wait!" someone cried from the crowd.
The guy froze.
"Look at him closely," the Commander said with a frown.
Something was wrong with John. Very wrong.
