Jenna intended to fulfill her promise.
She would stop by her uncle's friends' companies– those people who came for Hazel's funeral.
She would raid their warehouses, prepare fully for the apocalypse before going to find her uncle and his family. To chase them out of the base they built.
That was her original plan and she was sticking to it.
So, turning to Daniel, she replied. "I'll book a hotel for you two. I have some matters to attend to. Once I'm done, I'll find you."
However, Daniel didn't respond immediately.
His eyes were locked on the countdown at the corner of a billboard.

A chill ran down his spine.
