BLARRR!!!
The bomb exploded, creating a massive blast that released deadly toxic smoke. The poisonous gas spread so quickly, destroying every living thing in its path. The trees died, the ground turned black, the rocks crumbled instantly, and Wirtz's corpse, still lying on the ground, seemed to be drying out even further.
Jyu could only run to avoid the blast. In his doll form, he kept running, darting back and forth to avoid inhaling the toxic gas.
"I have to create some distance"
Jyu ran even faster to evade it. To slow the toxic gas's advance, Jyu struck the ground to make the surface uneven. This effort was quite successful; the toxic gas's momentum was sufficiently hindered, giving him enough space to act.
Jyu leaped high and instantly transformed into a bear monster. With a single deep breath, he roared again, creating a super-powerful airwave. His storm struck the toxic gas; the ground shook violently as the two forces collided.
His attack succeeded; the toxic gas explosion was instantly swept away, leaving no trace.
"There's no way I'd die from a weak attack like that," muttered Jyu, now brimming with confidence.
Suddenly, a rune appeared in his mind.
[Congratulations, your power is increasing]
Demon Fragments: 800/1000 +25
Jyu smiled upon seeing it, "Time to hunt down Alber!"

The DV Army successfully passed through the poisonous fortress unscathed. The sphere created by Svider truly protected them from impact upon landing. Now they could attack the mystical creatures assaulting the DV Army.
Led by Taffie and other senior members of the DV Army, they moved swiftly to launch an ambush. But when they reached the headquarters, Alber and his men were laughing smugly.
"You've lost now, Jenna," said Alber.
Taffie and the others saw it with their own eyes: Master Jenna lay limp on the ground, her body bound by golden chains. Slowly, her body turned to stone, hardening until Master Jenna could no longer move.
Alber knew that Taffie and her group had arrived. His eyes immediately fell on Sizhi, who wore an angry expression.
"So you're still alive, my granddaughter?"
Sizhi trembled as the person she loved dearly addressed her. Slowly, her mouth began to speak, though her lips continued to tremble violently.
"I'm here to kill you!" she shouted.
Alber merely smiled and showed an expression of affection toward Sizhi.
"Now your god of death is gone. Will you surrender?" Alber said to all the DV Army soldiers.
There was no denying that Master Jenna was the strongest in the DV Army. She possessed a demon—or the spirit of the god of death. Anyone who faced her would surely die, sealed inside the demon's belly. Not a single enemy had ever defeated her.
But now the DV Army's strongest protector was gone. This fact shook the soldiers' resolve. Some of them were pessimistic, even cursing out of fear of Alber's power, which had defeated Master Jenna.
"We have no hope left," said one of the DV Army soldiers.
"The human world is over," said another.

Jyu's victory in his battle against Meito boosted his confidence. He hurried toward the DV Army headquarters, but first approached Wirtz's body and carried it to pay respects for all his services.
Jyu was now eager to face Alber immediately. He ran swiftly until he finally joined the DV Army soldiers, including Taffie and Sizhi.
However, Jyu was confused upon seeing the despair on his friends' faces. He stepped forward and saw Alber, brimming with arrogance.
Jyu placed Wirtz's body on the ground, "So you're here. Let's settle our unfinished business."
Alber just laughed loudly upon hearing Jyu's challenge. Meanwhile, Jyu grew even angrier, but Taffie immediately stopped him from attacking. Their top priority right now was to save Master Jenna.
"Don't be reckless! Look at that statue lying on the ground—it's Master Jenna. They have sealed our teacher. Our priority now is to save her."
Jyu was shocked upon hearing this fact; his eyes couldn't blink as he kept staring at the statue. "She's Master Jenna? Why did she lose? She's supposed to be so strong, right?"
Taffie patted Jyu on the shoulder, "She didn't lose; she's just been sealed. As long as we can break the seal, we'll definitely be able to turn the situation around."
Now all the Arabai, Alber's men, stepped forward as if ready to start a fight. But Alber immediately stopped them.
"Don't rush. From now on, we'll play with them. Let's go home and relax for now."
Alber approached Master Jenna's body, placing his palm on top of the hardened head. It vanished instantly!
"What…? Where did she go?" Jyu and the DV Army soldiers were shocked by Master Jenna's disappearance.
"I'm borrowing her for a bit. She used to be my favorite servant; now I want to make her a decoration in my palace," Alber said arrogantly.
"Enjoy your stay!" he said again, waving his hand.
In the blink of an eye, Alber and his men vanished without a trace. A wave of frustration immediately swept over all the DV Army soldiers.
"It's over!" said one soldier, now slumped dejectedly on the ground.
However, another soldier, still optimistic, immediately ran to check the condition of the DV Army headquarters, including its occupants. It turned out that the headquarters was severely damaged, and there were many casualties. Even Master Felix was among the victims and was declared dead.
Jyu watched all this with an angry, frustrated look. In the blink of an eye, the enemy had infiltrated and killed everyone inside the headquarters. Even Master Jenna, nicknamed the god of death, couldn't do much.
"What exactly happened?" Jyu asked Taffie, who was checking on the victims' condition.
Taffie took a deep, drawn-out breath, "I'm not sure exactly; we can only check via CCTV. But before that, we have to take care of all our friends' bodies."
"What about Master Jenna?"
"She's been sealed. It's a death seal. When golden chains bind the body, it turns to stone. As long as she's sealed, she'll be trapped in an illusion that keeps torturing her. They say this torment repeats every second—and by the time she's free, she'll actually wish she were dead."
Jyu and the few soldiers who heard this were immediately terrified. That's how terrifying the death seal now binding Master Jenna is. The torture she's enduring is so cruel; she'll experience the greatest pain of her life. Yet she can only remain silent, unable to make a sound, just like someone in agony.
"We have to save her immediately," said Jyu, now consumed by ambition.
Taffie just stared at him blankly, "Do you know how? Do you know where Master Jenna was taken? Do you know how we get to Alber's palace?"
Jyu couldn't answer; he could only remain silent and bow his head.
"Don't ask so many questions now. Help the medics examine the victims. If anyone dies, bury them immediately with respect."
