Chapter 38 – The Impact of the Second 007 Trailer
November 2015 – The World Reacts to the New 007: Spectre Trailer
Jacob Stewart sat in the living room of his luxurious Los Angeles home, with Lucky, his faithful black Labrador, lying beside him on the sofa. A steaming cup of coffee rested on the coffee table as he held his phone and scrolled through social media.
The second trailer for 007: Spectre had been released a month earlier, in October, and since then, the world hadn't stopped talking about it.
Jacob had already watched the trailer countless times, but decided to press play again.
The phone screen lit up his face as the iconic notes of the James Bond soundtrack began to play.
The trailer was intense, elegant, and action-packed.
The first few seconds showed Daniel Craig as Bond, serious, ruthless, walking through a Venice illuminated at night.
Quick cuts showed shootouts in dark alleys, high-speed car chases, and a brutal fight inside a helicopter.
But then, his moment arrived.
The screen cut to a close-up of Jacob's face, his character emerging from the shadows, wearing an impeccable black suit, holding a silenced Glock.
His gaze was cold. His smile, slightly sarcastic.
"James Bond… You've survived so much. But this time… the ending will be different."
The trailer then showed a quick sequence of the fight on the train, where Jacob and Bond exchanged brutal blows, breaking tables and knocking over wine bottles as the carriage swayed with speed.
Quick cut.
Bond pointed a gun at Jacob.
"Who the hell are you?"
Jacob smirked.
"The man who should have been called first."
The screen faded to black and the soundtrack swelled before displaying the iconic logo:
007: SPECTRE
Jacob paused the video and opened Twitter, where his name was still trending.
He began reading the comments.
Fan and Media Reaction
@JamesBondFandom: Jacob Stewart looks absolutely lethal in this trailer. He might be the best supporting villain in the franchise since Oddjob and Jaws!
@CineActionReview: Jacob Stewart's screen time in the trailer may be short, but his intensity is already INCREDIBLE. This guy was born for action roles!
@007DieHardFan: If this movie is good, we need to see Jacob Stewart return in a future 007. The guy is PERFECT for the Bond universe!
@MovieInsider: Jacob Stewart may have a small role, but he's dominating the spotlight! Hollywood has a new action and spy star!
Jacob laughed, taking a sip of coffee.
Fans were going crazy over his presence in the trailer.
He opened YouTube and went straight to the comments section of the official trailer, which had already accumulated millions of views.
"Isn't anyone talking about the fact that Jacob Stewart looks like a REAL THREAT to James Bond??"
"The way he enters the scene… Pure charisma. This guy could be one of the best supporting villains in the franchise!"
"Can we talk about how Jacob Stewart looks like a real assassin? The guy trains with SEALs and competes in target shooting. That brings a level of realism that few actors have."
"If James Bond dies in this movie, we already know who's responsible."
Jacob smiled and ran a hand through his beard.
He knew his character wasn't the main villain, but it was clear he was stealing the show.
What was supposed to be just a cameo was turning into something much bigger than he imagined.
A call from Richard Calloway
His cell phone vibrated, displaying the name Richard Calloway, his agent.
Jacob answered.
"Speak, Richard."
On the other end of the line, Richard was beaming.
"Jacob, did you see the numbers?"
"Yes. The trailer is blowing up."
"Blowing up? Dude, YOU are one of the most talked-about elements of the trailer! The studio is LOVING the audience's reaction to your character."
Jacob smiled.
"Good to know we did a good job."
Richard laughed.
""Good job" is an understatement. You may have a small amount of screen time, but your presence is so strong that people are already asking for your character to return in the next 007."
Jacob raised an eyebrow.
"Is that real?"
"Totally. I'm talking to contacts within the production." Nothing is confirmed yet, but there are already discussions about bringing you back for another film in the franchise.
Jacob was silent for a moment, considering the possibility.
He loved the 007 universe. Being part of one of the films was already an honor. But returning for a bigger role in a future film?
That would be huge.
"If they want me, I'm in."
Richard laughed.
"That's the answer I wanted to hear. Now, keep training and preparing. Because when Spectre premieres in November, you can be sure your schedule will get even more insane."
Jacob laughed.
"I can't wait."
He hung up the phone and looked again at the online comments.
Every second, new messages appeared.
And one thing became clear to him
He was no longer just a Hollywood prospect.
He was already at the top.
And the whole world was watching.
Chapter 39 – The Impact of The Revenant Trailer
November 2015 – The World Holds Its Breath
The November weather was cold, but nothing compared to what Jacob Stewart had endured during the months of filming The Revenant. Now, finally, the first official trailer for the film was about to be released.
He was at home, relaxing with Lucky, his faithful black Labrador, when his cell phone vibrated with a notification.
"20th Century Studios has just released the first trailer for The Revenant."
Jacob took a deep breath. He had already seen some unfinished versions of the film during post-production, but now it was different.
Now, the whole world would see what he had done.
He opened YouTube and clicked on the video.
The Trailer Begins
The screen went dark, and then…
The sound of the cutting wind echoed.
The cold and unforgiving landscape unfolded, revealing snow-covered forests, frozen rivers, and a heavy, gray sky.
The camera slowly pans to reveal Jacob Stewart as Hugh Glass.
His face was covered in dirt, dried blood, and scars.
His eyes, filled with silent fury, said it all without needing words.
Voiceover (Tom Hardy, as Fitzgerald):
"What happened was a mistake. You should have died back then."
Cut to Jacob lying on the ground, wounded, staring at the cloudy sky as snow falls on him.
The soundtrack began to swell, slowly building in tension.
Cut to a brutal action scene: Jacob, axe in hand, fighting hunters in the middle of the forest, taking down one after another.
Cut to a close-up of his face, his eyes gleaming with pure determination.
"As long as I breathe, I will fight." (Jacob as Hugh Glass)
The trailer picked up the pace, showing scenes of horseback chases, desperate fights for survival, and Jacob swallowing his pain to keep going.
The final scene was impactful:
Jacob, alone in the snow, staring at something in the distance, breathing heavily, holding a rifle with trembling hands.
Black screen.
The soundtrack stops abruptly.
Then, the phrase appears on the screen:
"Based on a true story. Directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu."
The title appears:
THE REVENANT
Final cut to Jacob, covered in blood and snow, murmuring:
— "They left me to die. Now, I'm going back to get what's mine."
End of trailer.
Jacob was silent for a few seconds.
He knew he had done a good job.
But seeing it all together…
It was surreal.
The Internet Explodes
Within minutes, the trailer was all over social media.
Jacob Stewart's name began to dominate worldwide trending topics.
He opened Twitter and saw the reactions.
@FilmCriticNY: Jacob Stewart isn't just acting in The Revenant… He IS living this character. This is cinema at its purest level.
@HollywoodInsider: If Jacob Stewart isn't nominated for an Oscar for The Revenant, we can end this awards season right now.
@ScreenRant: The Revenant trailer is a gut punch. Jacob Stewart's performance is intense, brutal, and real. This film is going to be a landmark.
@MovieReviewHQ: Does the Oscar already have a favorite? Because Jacob Stewart in The Revenant looks like the kind of performance that defines a career.
Jacob chuckled softly, taking a sip of coffee as he read the comments.
It was official.
The world was impressed.
Richard Calloway's Call
The cell phone rang.
It was Richard Calloway, his agent.
Jacob answered.
"Let me guess… You saw the trailer?"
On the other end of the line, Richard was euphoric.
"Jacob… This trailer isn't just good. IT'S AN EVENT!"
Jacob smiled.
"So people are reacting well, then?"
Richard laughed.
"Well"? Your name is literally dominating the media! Didn't you see the headlines?"
Jacob opened his laptop and began reading the day's top news stories.

Jacob ran a hand over his face, absorbing everything.
"So… They're already talking about the Oscars?"
Richard laughed.
"Jacob, they're not just talking… They're BETTING on you! Hollywood betting odds have already placed your name as one of the favorites for Best Actor!"
Jacob laughed, but felt a different weight on his shoulders.
The expectation was now gigantic.
"This means I need to start preparing for awards season, right?"
"Exactly. This is going to be huge, Jacob. Interviews, events, festivals, Oscar campaigns… You're about to live the full experience."
Jacob took a deep breath.
He had never made a film with this emotional magnitude before.
But now, the world was expecting him to deliver one of the best performances of the year.
He looked at Lucky, who was wagging his tail, completely oblivious to what was happening.

"Well… It seems things are going to get even crazier from here on out."
And he knew that this was just the first of many great nights to come.
