Jay's Pov
David: "That is where you are wrong" he shouted back
Jay : "What are you saying?" I was confused when he said that.
David: "I am saying Keifer didn't abandon you"
Jay: "What are talking David? Don't lie to me"
David: " I am not lying Jay, He really didn't really abandon you, he did that because he was...
pushed too"
I was so confused and couldn't process what he was trying to say,
Jay: "I don't understand"
David: "This what really happened"
Author's POV(The same day when Jay decides to run after meeting Keifer and getting locked up in the room)
Keifer returned after meeting Jay, and went to his house and went inside,
Keifer: "Keiren" he called but no one answered.
Keifer: "Keiren, where are you?"
He tried calling him but he did not answer, he tried calling his friends but They also did know where he was.
He went out to search that is when he noticed a black van and men standing outside,
Keifer: "Who are you guys?"
Men: "Come with us"
Keifer: "Why should I?"
They showed him a video call of Keiren being tied to chair in a dark place
Keifer: "Keiren" he shouted
Keiren: "Kuya, come here please I am scared" he said crying
Keifer: "Keiren, don't worry I am coming"
Keifer got in the van and went with them but they handcuffed him,
The reached an old warehouse that was under construction, The men who brought Keifer, pushed him and brought inside and made him kneel down and he saw Keiren tied to a chair and he was crying
Keifer: "Keiren, don't worry I am here, don't be afraid"
Keiren: "Kuya"
The guys started beating Keifer, 2 guys held his hands from behind, they started punching in his stomach, and head, he started bleeding,
Keiren started crying looking at him,
Keifer: "Keiren, Don't cry"
Keifer: "What the hell do you guys want from me?"
He punched him again
Guy: "You will know in some time"
They kept beating, he was almost in the state of losing his consciousness, but then another guy came after some hours and he looked a little older,
Older guy: "So this is Mark Keifer Watson"
Keifer: "What do you want?"
Old guy: "Me I want many things but I also know what you want, I know you are behind Jay Mariano for her money, now is the time you leave"
Then only Keifer realised that he might be Jay's step father
Keifer: "You fucking bastard, I am not cheap like you to love her for her money, I LOVE HER NOT HER MONEY"
He shouted
Old Guy: "Do you really think I am going to believe you"
He punched him and held his face,
Old guy: "Now you will do as I say, you yourself will tell her that you don't love her anymore and you are leaving her"
Keifer: "I will never do that to her"
Old guy: "Oh really" he said and punched him again, Keifer was bleeding
While he was beating him another guy and said,
guy: "Sir she has left the mansion, she is heading towards his house" he said and pointed at Keifer.
Keifer: (in his mind)"Jay please be safe somewhere, I will come to you soon"
Old guy: "That's nice, she is searching for you, poor girl doesn't know you are going to abandon her "
After sometime Keifer's phone started ringing, that old guy took it from Keifer,
Old guy: "Oh look who is calling, your lover Jay Mariano"
Keifer: "Give me that phone you idiot"
Old guy:"ohh, I will but you will do as I say, you going to say that you will leave her"
Keifer: "Just like I said I will not do that" The phone went off
Old guy: "See the phone went off you giving the poor girl hope, That you will come and save her"
Keifer: "Why are you doing this?"
Old guy: "Simple I want her wealth"
Keifer :"You cheapskate"
He just smiled when Keifer said,
Old guy: "I do not care what you have to say"
The phone rang again,
Keifer: "Now give me my phone"
Old guy: "I will but you have do as I say"
Keifer: "I won't"
Old guy: "Okay now you won't leave me with no option" He signalled another guy, he held a gun on Keiren's head
Keiren: "Kuya save me" He started crying and was scared
Keifer: "Keiren, don't cry I am here" The phone went off again
Old guy: "Now, will you do as I say or you want your brother to go heaven"
Keifer felt so helpless because he had no other choice but to abandon her,
Keifer: "Fine" he said in a broken voice while tears pouring in his eyes,
Old guy: "Good, Now you will do as I say and tell her to leave, if you try to give her any signal, remember your brother's head is still attached to gun "
He nodded feeling weak, just in time the phone rang again,
Old guy: "Here, do your job perfectly"
one guy came and held Keifer's head as he was starting to speak, they answered the phone and put it on speaker,
Jay: "Hello Keif, where are you?" As soon as he heard her voice he couldn't control his tears because of what he was about to do
Keifer: "I had something important to take care of, why?" He tried to sound normal, so that she isn't suspicious
Jay: "I am in your house, My mom's securities are following me, I ran away from my home, they are trying to get me married to someone" It broke his heart to see her being trapped like this and now he is going to break her heart
Keifer: "Why did you leave your house in the middle of the night? Just go back" this does not sound like me, I think she might be shocked hearing me talk like this, I am sorry Jay.
Jay: "Can you please come and get me, they are trying to get me married to him "
Keifer : "Jay, listen I am busy right now, I will not be able to come"
Jay:" Please, understand I ran from my house, they are following me, if they get hold of me they will get me married"
He couldn't speak for a minute and the guy who held his head pushed his head for him to respond, I am really sorry for what I am about to do Jay, but I promise I will come and get you, please hold on to me please,
Keifer : "Jay, I cannot do anything about that , honestly I don't have time and I cannot care about you right now, please don't involve me in this mess"
I am sorry Jay. I hope you will forgive me for what I did, He could feel her crying, he got scared when he did not speak for sometime, It was tearing his apart because he couldn't be there for her and he is the reason now she is breaking, He couldn't control his tears. Then after a minute he heard her say something that killed him alive,
Jay:" Did you even Love me?"
The guy gave signal to speak, but Keifer couldn't bring himself to say anything, the only answers were his tear, the guy pulled his head again asking him to speak but he couldn't, So he cut the call.
