Walking through the corridor towards his locker Silas was deep in thought.
What happened next in the plot… it was a port angeles trip. I think.
And the Cullens weren't in school that day, and the cause was the sun.
If I base that on what I'm seeing now, I think it should be in the upcoming days.
Which means the plot is gaining momentum.
Just then he reached his locker, he twisted the knob on the lock with total automation.
He was not even thinking about it… before he knew it, the lock was open in his hand and he was staring inside his open locker.
Frowning he reached for his math book, and then put in his PE clothes.
It was good to have Viktor back. If he hadn't put my bag with clothes in front of the door, I would have never remembered it.
He closed the locker and locked it, then started to walk towards math.
Math was becoming increasingly monotonous. It was the same stuff everyday.
As he entered the mostly empty classroom he saw that Emmett was already there, waiting.
He noticed that Emmett was looking at him, clearly seeking contact.
But Silas turned his head away, playing like he didn't see it.
After all, it's so awkward walking towards a friend and they've spotted you, and you're just kinda looking at each other as you close in on one another.
Very awkward. I don't like…
He sat down beside Emmett and smiled.
"Hello, how was your weekend?" Silas asked and opened his math book.
Emmett narrowed his eyes.
"It was good… I've played some more MK, and I think that you're no longer anything special."
Silas raised an eyebrow and wore an amused smile.
"Really? You think you're better than me? After just a weekend of practice?"
Emmett nodded, clearly stuck in some kind of delusion. Maybe he had taken some mushrooms.
"Yeah, our skills weren't that far apart last time, a little practice and… I believe that this Friday, you will be the loser."
Silas heard this and was getting increasingly worried about Emmett… had he gotten amnesia?
Had he forgotten how I absolutely abused him a few days ago?
Or… had he actually taken mushrooms?
The more Silas thought about it, the more likely it seemed.
"So… do you truly think you can beat me this Friday?" Silas asked, playing unbothered.
To be honest.
This delusion Emmett had… it was pissing him off. What do you mean you think you can beat me!? Have you forgotten last Friday!?
The more he thought about it, the more riled up he became.
Emmett who heard his question nodded his head. Clearly he was delusional.
Completely lost touch with reality.
Silas took a deep breath. Calm down.
He looked down at his math book and stopped thinking about Emmett.
Just then the teacher walked in, he wore the same fit as every other day… with slightly different colors.
If he didn't know better he would think that the different color was contributed by sweat or something.
'Cause this teacher wore practically the same stuff everyday, the only thing different was the tone of the color.
The teacher greeted the students, asked if they'd had a good weekend.
Everyone nodded.
The teacher seemed satisfied, and started to teach today's lesson.
Math class passed like usual.
Nothing new was introduced, it was mostly just repetition to prepare for the incoming test.
As class ended Silas left with his books, and made his way towards his locker.
His next class was History, he grabbed his text book and notebook.
They never really used these books… I'm not exactly sure what their use is.
He arrived at the History classroom and found his seat furthest down.
This was one of the reasons he liked this class, he could sit down here, day dream and look out the window.
The more he thought about it the more he liked this class.
Sadly all good things must come to an end.
The next class was PE… he wasn't excited at all.
He arrived at the changing room and quickly changed his clothes and made his way out into the gym.
When he arrived he saw volleyball nets prepared.
Yes! Something chill, this is a real paddler sport.
You don't really need to do anything since most students are so bad that the game is barely playable.
He arrived at the center of the gym and stood in the circle around the teacher.
"As you can see we are going to be playing volleyball, I will sort you into teams."
Slowly the teacher sorted them into red, green, blue and yellow teams.
Silas was once again on the red team.
He walked over and grabbed his vest, he glanced over his team members and sighed.
Truly… sport should be banned in high school. These people obviously don't want to participate.
Two of the team members had normal "civilian" clothes while the rest just looked… like any place on earth other than this… would be better.
What's wrong with laps?
The game slowly started and Silas just paddled along, he didn't want to win, he just wanted the class to pass.
The only time he actually tried a little was when their team went up against Mike's.
As the class ended his team was neither good nor bad, just mediocre.
They were in a shared second place with another team who got the same score.
After a shower he didn't really need it since he barely moved the entire class, put on his clothes again.
Again. That's the key word. He really hates these boring and useless PE classes, cause he needs to change clothes… which is a pain.
When he arrived at his locker, he threw in his clothes and stretched.
It was now finally lunch time. The most chill part of the day.
Just as he closed his locker, a pair of hands wrapped around his waist from behind.
Silas looked down at the two white smooth hands and smiled.
"Alice… is that you?" Of course it was… but he had to play along.
He heard a giggle behind him.
"Yes. How did you know?" She let go of him and instead grabbed his hand.
Silas put on a thoughtful expression.
"Hmm, it was just a guess."
...
Enjoy. Mwah~
CHAPTER END.
