(Alex Pov)
As the three roots were about to touch him.
Alex took a single step forward avoiding them.
"Come on Miranda , I know you can do better than that". Alex says mockingly he continues, walking forward while clapping.
Hundreds of black roots burst out of the ground, all of them moving like spears aimed at vital points: legs, arms, heart, lungs and the head.
'Let's try something interesting After all, this place is just a mental plane and now that my control over it has increased because I devoured all those statues' Alex's grin widens
' I've come realize it's pretty badly made one at that so I can just enforce my mental domain on it easily'
'Do you want to know what Just for shits and giggles'
" Domain expansion"

Overwriting The Realm of Consciousness Turning it into an endless library.
'Huh Wait, that's why the Partition's Strain me so much. They're basic copies of my mind and soul, kinda like nascent souls from cultivation novels.' Alex puts his hand on his chin
Accept for the fact that from what I can tell mine are more complete in what they cover as these seem to also have a copy of my existence itself It's funny that I did it on complete accident but does make a lot more sense why it is so straining
Alex smiles as he walks over to a bookshelf and pulls out a book with label eve and sits down.
'It's totally worth it though as I wouldn't be able to do this so cleanly without it Although from what I can tell , it still would have been easy after all , they're all so weak'
Alex smiles as he then sets the book down on the table.' Oh I can feel her gaze burning a hole into me. That's fine , though there's a reason why I left that connection there.'
Alex then says, "Miranda.It's time to have a chat"
And then he snaps his fingers as he mentally pulls on the connection Miranda has with this realm.
And she appears looking defeated sitting on the chair on the other side of the table.
When she sees the book on the table Her eyes fill with hope.
"Eve you're still here" She choked out Then her eyes fill with rage "Give her back to me" Miranda screams at Alex
Alex completely indifferent asks her "Are you done screaming, so we can have a civilized conversation about what is going to happen"
"And there is going to be no negotiation here. I'm going to tell you what was going to happen and you're going to do it or you're never going to see your daughter again" Alex picks up and plays with the book
"But I can also guarantee you that Eve will have a vessel that is perfect for her, stronger and more capable than your body currently is."
Miranda stares at him in terror with hope also mixed in her gaze as what he said seems to hit her.
"Oh and let me introduce myself. I'm Alex and I want to thank you for your part in my creation as well." Alex grins , widely as he sees the sheer confusion on mother Miranda's face.
Mother Miranda chokes out "What do you mean by your creation"
"I'm talking about my physical body.I'm currently in a tube although you and your associates did some really shoddy work when it came to my genes" Alex smiles as realization creeps into Miranda's face.
" Wait you're project chaos that doesn't make any sense Spencer's pet project couldn't have succeeded there were too many flaws in it."
Miranda's face went from confused to angry and then frowning as she concentrated.
"I have to agree with you on that it was really irritating having to rebuild the entirety of my body ,on the genetic level because of those flaws."
After Alex says this he takes in the look of sheer confusion on Miranda's face.
'She is pretty cute when confused. Wait a minute, where did that come from? Huh , I guess my time in the Abyss has shifted my tastes by a lot'.
Miranda regaining her composure, asks Alex. "why are you telling me this and why are you not worried about getting your physical body destroyed because of this information."
Alex replies "well, it doesn't matter if you do try you would die along with everybody else who is part of the attempt and if you do succeed."
Half of Alex's body slowly turns itself into a black and crimson , red mass full of eyes and mouths then speaks in a voice that echos throughout the entire library
" I wish you good luck you're going to need it"
Then it all recedes leaving just his normal face behind.
Alex chuckles as he says "but we both know it won't come to that after all , you couldn't even if you wanted to, you still want Eve back after all." Alex stops playing with the book and sets it in the middle of the table
Miranda instantly reaches forward to grab it and Is stopped by Alex grabbing her wrist.
"No, you're not allowed to have that yet. We need to first come to an agreement before you're allowed to have it."
Alex says to Miranda as he lets go of her wrist.
Miranda looks outraged at first , then she quickly composes herself.
Miranda then replies "What type of agreement are we talking about."
Alex grins as he starts explaining.

Sorry about this chapter being short and anticlimactic.
It's just I don't really want to nerf Alex and everything around him , at this point is just kind of weak. Resident evil doesn't have that high of scaling same with Prototype.
I think we can all agree on that nerfing a character is kind of boring especially when there isn't good enough reasoning for it.
So the story for a little while is basically going to be Alex , building up a base of power aka making people superhuman and pushing to colonize the solar system at the start.
You're not really going to really feel any tension from Alex's side of things at this point in the story but well , that's what other characters' points of view are useful for.
I'm going to revise it a little later and add more dialogue , as well as descriptions.
