In Fate, in the wider Type-Moon series, there is a distinction between Magecraft and true Magic.
Put simply, Magic is the realm of the impossible—things that cannot be achieved no matter how much time or effort is poured into them.
Magecraft, meanwhile, belongs to the category of things that can be done.
Fireballs. Ice arrows. Things fantasy stories would casually call magic.
In Type-Moon, those are all classified as Magecraft.
True Magic, on the other hand, numbers only six at most.
And even among those, three have never been properly revealed.
Of them, the Third Magic is one of the better-documented cases.
