As Kaden cooked each Fillet, banging could be heard from the door.
"That must be Ahmad. Banging on my fucking door at this time of night.. I know I invited you but damn.."
Kaden put the stovetop on low and afterwards walked towards the door.
"Who is it?.."
Nothing was said. Kaden grabbed onto the door know and opened it slowly. As he opened it, Ahmad's hand grips onto the door's frame and forces it open.
"KADEN!? YOU OK!?"
As Ahmad yelled out for Kaden, he touched Ahmad's hand from behind the door. He looks behind the door and sees Kaden, faceplanted into the door.
"Oooooo.. My bad dude.. You good?"
Kaden started to boil with rage and then pushed himself off the door.
"YOU SLAMMED MY OWN DOOR IN MY FACE! OF COURSE I'M NOT FINE!! WHY ARE YOU IN SUCH A HURRY TO SEE ME ANYWAYS!?"
Ahmad scratches his head and walks into the house whilst Kaden walked back to the kitchen.
"You just disappeared out of nowhere the last time I saw you! It's been an entire day since then!"
He turned and looks at Ahmad.
"A day? No way, it was only a couple of hours. I was only in The Penalty Zone for a bit!"
"Dude no.. you were gone for an entire day. Wait.. SO I WASNT TRIPPING! YOU SAID PENALTY ZONE ON THE PHONE!"
Kaden scratched his cheek slightly.
"I mean yea.. Whats the issue?.."
"DUDE- a Penalty Zone is dangerous as shit! You dont know what could happen! You got lucky!"
Kaden shrugged his shoulders and swayed his hand towards Ahmad.
"Don't worry! I'll be fineeee! Im so lucky, call me Poco Loco!"
"Ha. Ha.. You're so fucking funny.."
"I know I am!"
Ahmad follows close behind Kaden as they walk into the Kitchen.
"OOOO LEMME FIX UP THESE FILLETS!"
He ran to the stove and began to cook. He placed 1 piece of butter on each fillet as they finished cooking. He grabbed 2 plates and a spatula. He placed both plates onto the counter next to him and his eyes darted towards Ahmad as he plated the fish as The Codex's screen popped up next to him.
"QUEST COMPLETED!

"Fucking 'Tomb of Fish'..? Ok.. Aye Ahmad! Can you make the rice for me real quick? I need to do my stats for a sec."
Ahmad sighed and walked to the counter.
"Go ahead and allocate those things already! Geez.."
Kaden walked to his table and sat down.
"Hey Ahmad."
"What?"
He turned towards Ahmad.
"Who else has this thing?"
"What thing? The Codex?"
His eyelids slightly dropped.
"No the fucking fish.. YES THE CODEX!"
"Shut up dude! And in dont know, you're the only other person- wait! There is someone else I know!"
"Really? Who?"
"They're apart of my Guild, which I gotta get you in if you're gonna start closing rifts! Her name iiiis.. I think Starrquisha??"
Kaden stared at Ahmad as his jaw dropped.
"Gang.. YOU'RE FUCKING LYING!"
Ahmad cackles uplaughing, holding his gut whilst he laughed.
"HAHAHAHA! IM NOT! They call her Starr for short im pretty sure!"
Kaden grabbed onto the table, trying his best not to laugh.
"I GOTTA JOIN THAT FUCKING GUILD!- Also how do guilds work?.."
Ahmad grabbed a steel pot, pouring water in it right afterwards.
"I'll explain once im done with this rice."
He placed the pot on the stove and opened a bag of rice right after. Kaden opened his hand as he turned back to the table. The Codex's screen popped up in front of him.

"Oh shoot, I already did em.."
He looked back at Ahmad and whispered to himself.
"He doesn't need to know.. I'll just pretend im doing em.."
Ahmad began to wash the rice off, getting every grain correctly.
"Alright lets get this over with.."
He poured the rice in the water and turned on the stovetop. He later placed the lid of the pot on the stove as crackles can be heard coming from the living room. They both turn and look towards the source of the crackling noise as The Codex's screens popped up next to them.
"What the..?"
"Hell?"
"QUEST!: Close the rift before the rice is finished boiling[0/1]!"
They both looked at each other and sighed deeply. Kaden quickly punched the wall and smashes his head against it afterwards.
"WHY THE FUCK DO WE HAVE TO DO SOME SHIT LIKE THIS! AT MY HOUSE OUT OF ALL PLACES!!"
"Well it also happened while you were at my house.. What level are you?"
"Fucking- Like 28?"
Ahmad jolted his head towards Kaden.
"ALREADY!? That Penalty Zone must've helped you out a lot!"
Kaden adjusts shoulders and seemingly summoned his Bat from his inventory.
"Let's just hurry up and get this over with, ya boy is more hungry than a bitch!"
Ahmad looks at Kaden, thinking of a sparky comment.
"Alright, Yusuke Urabitchi"
"THE FUCK DID YOU CALL ME, ESCAWHORE!?"
"OOOOOHH!! GETTING MORE CREATIVE ARE WE!?"
Whilst they bickering at each other, an aura filled the room.
"What the.. GHHH!!.."
"Kaden!? Are you- GRAAHHHH!!.."
They both fell to the ground as the aura invaded their lungs, causing them to grip at their throats.
"CHHH.. CRHHHH..!!"
Kaden looked around, and as his eyes began to glow, The Codex's screen popped up next to him.
"Skill Execution: Code Observe[Lv. 1]!"
Kaden's pupils began moving at Supersonic speeds as their glow intensified. Then, the Codex's screen transformed.
"LUNGFILLER! A living gas that invades the person's lungs to destroy their chance at recovery and to kill them slowly yet painfully!
WEAKNESS: Heat!"
Then Kaden thought about it, his eyes glowing brightly at the thought.
"Ahmad.. heat.. heaaa.. GHH.. GCK!! GCK!.."
Ahmad nodded, opening his hand as mana began to force itself out of him.
"Skill Execution: Burning Radiance[Lv. 1]"
