Noah's pupils shrank.
"Brainwashing Release…?!"
"As long as this card remains face-up," Kaiba said, voice steady and absolute, "control of all monsters on both fields returns to their original owners."
A flash of light erupted across the arena.
The Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon that had been standing on Noah's side dissolved into particles—and reformed behind Kaiba with a thunderous landing.
Kaiba's mouth curled, not into a smile, but a verdict.
"Understand now, Noah? Your so-called 'Absolute Defense' doesn't defend you at all. It's just a convenient way to revive my monsters."
Aoi watched from Kaiba's flank, the faintest trace of amusement in her eyes.
(Exactly. Miracle Ark's 'defense' is just a delivery system—for Seto.)
"Battle continues," Kaiba snapped. "Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon, attack Chiron the Mage!"
Noah's expression twisted.
"I activate Trap—Mirror Force! When you declare an attack, it destroys all your Attack Position monsters!"
Kaiba didn't even blink.
"Useless. Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon is unaffected by your Traps."
Mirror Force detonated—only to fizzle against an invisible wall of dominance.
Chiron was the one that shattered.

Noah's fingers tightened.
"And because of Miracle Ark, the destroyed Chiron is stored inside the Ark."
He set two more cards with forced composure.
"Turn end." (Cards in hand: 3)
Noah drew—his hand hesitated in midair, just for a beat.
"My… turn…"
Kaiba's gaze was merciless.
"What's wrong, Noah? With that level of resolve, you'll never beat me."
"Tch… Shut up!" Noah forced the motion through. "Draw!"
His eyes flashed as he played a Spell.
"I activate Deluge! Both players send all monsters from their field and hand to the Graveyard!"
A tidal wave burst from the ground, swallowing everything.
Kaiba clicked his tongue as his monsters were dragged away—along with a card in his hand.
"Damn… even Sage with Eyes of Blue in my hand got pulled in."
But Noah's smile returned—too confident, too eager.
"And now, Miracle Ark's third ability—Life Restoration!"
The Ark above them pulsed. One by one, the stored monsters became light and streamed into Noah's body like stolen lifeforce.
"By banishing monsters stored inside Miracle Ark, I recover Life Points. For each one—2500."
He banished four monsters in a single breath.
"My Life Points recover 2500 × 4 = 10,000!"
A pulse—then the system recalculated.
Noah LP 2400 → 4900
Noah exhaled, satisfaction creeping into his voice.
"I can't Summon anything else. Turn end." (Cards in hand: 2)
He lifted his chin.
"With 4900 Life Points, even if you rebuild your field next turn, you can't possibly defeat me."
Kaiba's laugh cut through the lava air—cold, certain, predatory.
"Ha… ha… ha… Noah."
Noah's smile faltered.
"What?"
"You're doing exactly what I expected."
Kaiba drew.
"My turn. Draw!"
"Noah—once you couldn't use Miracle Ark's second effect reliably, of course you'd try to 'clean' the Ark by pushing monsters away."
Kaiba flipped a card with a snap that sounded like a gavel.
"I activate Return from the Different Dimension! I pay half my Life Points—then Special Summon as many of my banished monsters as possible!"
The sky above twisted into a swirling vortex.
Three immense shadows erupted from it like gods descending.

Kaiba's eyes sharpened into murder.
"Stop posturing. My dragons—direct att—"
He didn't finish.
A black corridor opened beside Noah like a wound in reality.
From it stepped Mokuba.
"M—Mokuba?!"
Kaiba stared as if the world had tilted.
Mokuba's eyes were empty—no light, no warmth—yet his voice was unwavering.
"I won't let you attack Noah-niisama."
Kaiba's throat tightened.
"Mokuba… move. I'm your brother."
"No." Mokuba's expression didn't change. "Noah is my brother. You're our enemy."
Kaiba's face—usually iron—cracked with a flicker of genuine disorientation.
Noah laughed, delighted.
"I told you. You can't win this turn. Hahahaha!"
Aoi's gaze turned glacial.
"Enough."
White light surged from her body, clean and overwhelming.
Her voice cut through the illusion like a blade through silk.
"Seto—attack. Mokuba's being sealed by false memory. I can restore him."
Kaiba's breathing steadied. His eyes found Aoi—then locked.
He believed her.
Behind Kaiba, a Blue-Eyes phantom appeared—vast, luminous, ancient—like an echo of something deeper than this artificial world.
"Mokuba," Kaiba said, voice shaking with anger and pleading in equal measure, "if you're my brother… wake up."
The Blue-Eyes phantom flared.
Light poured over Mokuba.
His pupils trembled—then the emptiness fractured.
"…B—Brother?"
Noah's grin froze.
"Tch. The memory seal I planted… got broken?"
Mokuba stumbled backward as if waking from drowning.
"Noah…! You hypnotized me just to force my brother to surrender?!"
He tore himself away from Noah's side.
And the moment he moved—
Kaiba's dragons struck.
"Direct attack!"
White annihilation and tyrant force converged into a storm of destruction.
Noah screamed.

Kaiba Seto WIN!
Mokuba cheered and sprinted toward Kaiba, relief breaking through his voice like sunlight.
"Brother—you won!"
Noah dropped to one knee, shaking—eyes wide with disbelief and rage.
"I lost… I still couldn't surpass Seto… My wish—everything—"
His gaze snapped toward Aoi, hatred distilling into a single point.
"No. If she hadn't been by your side… you never would have exceeded me. It's because of her."
Aoi stepped up beside Kaiba, uninjured by the lava world—because it was only data.
"Congratulations, Seto."
Kaiba didn't look away from Noah as he answered.
"And you." His tone softened by half a degree—an unimaginable amount for him. "Stop calling me Kaiba."
Aoi blinked. "I was avoiding confusion with Noah."
"I don't care," Kaiba said, stubborn as fate. "From now on, you call me Seto."
Aoi's lips twitched—half exasperation, half amusement.
"…Fine. Seto."
Kaiba's mouth lifted into a satisfied curve—small, but unmistakably victorious.
