A set card on her field sprang open.
"Counter Trap—Curse of the Royals!"
"This card activates when my opponent uses a Spell or Trap that targets exactly one Spell/Trap on the field and would destroy it. I negate that activation—and destroy that card!"
Kaiba's lips tightened.
"Therefore, your Nightmare of the Abyss is negated and destroyed. And my Gravekeeper's Trap stays online."
Isis didn't pause.
"I continue resolving Gravekeeper's Trap—I add Mudora the Sword Oracle from my Deck to my hand."
"Kaiba's been read like a book… That's it, he's finished," Jounouchi muttered.
"No." Kisaragi Aoi's gaze stayed on Kaiba's face. "Look at him. He hasn't even blinked. He expected this."
Aoi's fingers curled unconsciously.Don't lose here, Kaiba… not now.
"I Normal Summon Mudora the Sword Oracle in Attack Position," Isis declared.
Then she flipped her own face-down monster upright.
"And I Flip Summon Gravekeeper's Scout!"

"Battle! Gravekeeper's Spearman attacks Kaiba's face-down Defense Position monster!"
"And when it attacks a Defense Position monster, if its ATK exceeds that monster's DEF, the difference becomes battle damage!"
Spearman lunged, spear tip whistling through the icy air—
"Hahah!" Kaiba's voice cut in, sharp as a blade. "Isis, you walked right into it."
"The face-down monster I set is Trap Master! When it's flipped face-up, it destroys one Trap Card on the field!"
Kaiba thrust an accusing finger forward.
"And of course I destroy Gravekeeper's Trap!"
Trap Master twisted, mechanisms clacking, and launched a strike of razor-like energy that tore through the continuous trap. The oppressive weight pressing down on Kaiba's Graveyard finally cracked.
But Isis's eyes were cold.
"You still take the damage."
Kaiba's Life Points dropped as Spearman's attack finished resolving.

"And next—Mudora attacks you directly!"
Isis's second attack was already in motion—
"Isis." Kaiba's voice was low and dangerous. "Now that Gravekeeper's Trap is gone… I can finally unleash this."
He slammed down a card.
"I activate the Continuous Trap—True Light!"
Behind Kaiba, a towering stone tablet rose from the duel platform—carved with the silhouette of a dragon so iconic it made the crowd's breath catch.
"Isn't that like Yugi's Eternal Soul?" Honda blurted. "Can it summon Blue-Eyes the same way?"
Even Yami Yugi's brows drew together as he stared at the tablet.
Kaiba's eyes shone.
"True Light lets me Special Summon a Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my hand or Graveyard."
"Come—Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
The tablet flared. The carving ignited with white light, and a massive white dragon surged out of stone and into the sky, roaring like a storm given form.

Isis's expression shifted—a flicker, small but real.
"Tch. Because of the battle replay, I end my Battle Phase."
She set a card.
"End turn." (Hand: 2)
"My turn—draw!"
Kaiba didn't hesitate.
"True Light again—Special Summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my Graveyard!"
A second white dragon burst from the tablet's glow, taking position beside the first.

"Summoning two Blue-Eyes that easily… That trap is terrifying," Otogi murmured, voice tight.
Kaiba's arm snapped forward.
"Battle! Blue-Eyes White Dragon—attack Gravekeeper's Spearman! Burst Stream of Destruction!"
The dragon's maw filled with blinding light—
"Trap Card—Dust Tornado!" Isis called out, crisp and merciless.
Kaiba's eyes widened.
"This card destroys one Spell or Trap on your field. I destroy True Light!"
A raging sandstorm erupted across the platform like a living wall. Grit and wind tore at the stone tablet, eroding it in seconds—until cracks spiderwebbed and the entire monument collapsed into shattered fragments.
And with the tablet's destruction—
Both Blue-Eyes roared in sudden agony as if their existence had been tethered to the tablet's magic. Their bodies fractured into light and blew away into nothing.
"Even a 'noble tablet' can't withstand the erosion of time and sand," Isis said quietly.
Honda's mouth fell open. "Why did Blue-Eyes get destroyed too?!"
Yami Yugi exhaled, grim. "Same weakness as Eternal Soul. When the core is destroyed… everything it sustained collapses."
Aoi's jaw tightened. "Exactly."
Dust Tornado's secondary effect triggered.
"And because of Dust Tornado, I can set a Spell/Trap from my hand," Isis added, sliding a card into place with deliberate calm.
Kaiba's teeth clicked.
"Tch. I set one card. End turn." (Hand: 3)
"My turn—draw!"
"I Special Summon Zolga the Prophet!"

"This monster can be Special Summoned if I control another EARTH Fairy besides it. Afterward, I can look at up to five cards from the top of either player's Deck."
Isis said nothing as she calmly checked the top five of her own deck, her eyes moving like a priest reading a scripture only she could see.
"Then I activate Trap Card—Gathering of the Clan! I target one face-up monster on the field, and Special Summon a monster from my hand or Graveyard with the same original Type but a different original name."
"I Special Summon Agido the Ancient Sentinel from my Graveyard!"

"Battle! Zolga the Prophet attacks directly!"
Kaiba's response was immediate—almost automatic.
"Counter Trap—Negate Attack! The attack is negated, and the Battle Phase ends!"
Isis's eyes narrowed slightly, but she didn't protest.
"I set one card. End turn." (Hand: 2)
"My turn—draw!"
Kaiba's gaze flicked to his Graveyard, then to Isis's field. He made a decision.
"I activate Spell Card—Monster Reborn."
"Rise, Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
A green spiral of resurrection energy surged upward—blue-white light following—
But Isis's voice snapped like a whip.
"This moment—flip your set card!"
Kaiba's eyes flashed. "What is it now?"
Isis's card flipped with a sharp clap.
"I activate Trap Card—The Reversal of Despair and Hope!"
Aoi's pupils contracted.
"Reversal of Despair and Hope…?" she breathed, alarm flashing across her face.
The spectators leaned in as if the air itself had thickened.
"This Trap can only be activated while I control three or more EARTH Fairy monsters," Isis declared. "Send all monsters on the field to the Graveyard."
The duel platform shuddered.
Every monster—every presence—was pulled downward as if gravity itself had become the Graveyard's hand. Blue-Eyes' resurrection light was snuffed mid-rise; monsters dissolved into streams of particles and fell away into the abyss of the duel disk's graveyard conduits.
The field—empty.
Isis raised her chin, voice icy with certainty.
"After that, each player can Special Summon from the opponent's Graveyard up to the number of monsters that were sent to the opponent's Graveyard by this effect."
Her eyes locked onto Kaiba.
"Kaiba—you only sent one monster to my Graveyard."
"And I will take it."
A beam of pale-blue light erupted from Kaiba's Graveyard.
A white dragon clawed its way out of the glow, roaring as it descended—not to Kaiba's side—
But to Isis's.

Kaiba's expression hardened, the corners of his mouth twitching with contained fury.
"What…?"
On Isis's field, the stolen Blue-Eyes spread its wings—its shadow falling across Kaiba like a verdict.
