On the Sky Duel Arena atop the Duel Airship, Seto Kaiba and Isis Ishdar faced each other. The freezing wind at a thousand meters cut like blades, but neither of them flinched. Calmly, they opened their Duel Disks.

"I activate Graceful Charity. I draw three cards, then discard two."
Isis glanced at Exchange of the Spirit in her hand, and sent it—along with another card—to the Graveyard.
"I discard Agido the Ancient Sentinel, and Special Summon Mudora the Sword Oracle in Defense Position!"
A solemn Egyptian priest appeared, gripping twin curved blades.

"This monster can be Special Summoned by discarding a Level 4 EARTH Fairy from my hand. After that, I can place the Continuous Trap Gravekeeper's Trap face-up in my Spell & Trap Zone."
Isis slid Gravekeeper's Trap from her Deck and locked it into her Duel Disk.
"Scary, scary… Big sister Isis is showing real killing intent now," Marik laughed from below.
Isis shot him a razor-edged look, and Marik's grin twitched.
"Next—Agido's effect activates! When this card is sent to the Graveyard from the hand or Deck, each player sends the top five cards of their Deck to the Graveyard."
"What—!" Kaiba's eyes narrowed.
Both Duelists milled five cards.
"And it's not over. While Exchange of the Spirit exists in my Graveyard, Agido's effect lets me send another five cards from either player's Deck to the Graveyard."
"Kaiba—send five more!"
"Damn it…!" Kaiba grimaced and dumped another five cards.
"He lost ten cards right at the start!" Jounouchi exclaimed.
"She's going for a full-speed shutdown from turn one," Yami Yugi said grimly.
Kaiba steadied himself and glanced at his own Graveyard.
"Then I'll trigger The White Stone of Legend—when it hits the Graveyard, I can add a Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my Deck to my hand!"
Isis didn't blink.
"Pointless. With Gravekeeper's Trap face-up—and Exchange of the Spirit in my Graveyard—you cannot activate card effects in your Graveyard, and you cannot Special Summon monsters from your Graveyard."
"What?!" Kaiba's voice sharpened.
Kisaragi Aoi's expression tightened. If Kaiba's Graveyard is sealed, half his deck's engine is gone.
Isis continued, cool and precise.
"I use Gravekeeper's Trap's effect: by discarding one card, I can add one Gravekeeper's monster or one EARTH Fairy from my Deck to my hand."
"I add Kelbek the Primeval Vanguard."
"Then I set one monster face-down, set one card, and end my turn."(Hand: 2)
"My turn—draw!"
"Kaiba—before you draw, I activate Gravekeeper's Trap's third effect."
Kaiba's eyes narrowed. "What now?"
"While this card is face-up, before you draw during your Draw Phase, I declare a card name. If you draw that exact card, you must send it to the Graveyard."
Kaiba's jaw tensed.
"You're drawing… Blue-Eyes White Dragon."
Isis's declaration hung in the air like a guillotine blade.
Kaiba drew—and froze when he saw the card.
"...Hmph. So you guessed right." Isis allowed herself a thin smile.
"It was a lucky hit, that's all!" Kaiba snapped, tossing the drawn Blue-Eyes into the Graveyard.
Graveyard sealed. Draw punished. Deck being shredded.Kaiba's eyes sharpened with real irritation.
"If I don't break that Trap quickly, this duel becomes a slow execution…"
"I set one monster face-down!"
At that instant, Isis moved again.
"I activate Gravekeeper's Trap. I discard Kelbek the Primeval Vanguard and add Keldo the Sacred Protector to my hand!"
"And Kelbek's effect—when sent to the Graveyard from hand or Deck, each player sends the top five cards of their Deck to the Graveyard."
"Not again!" Kaiba growled as both players milled five more.
Jounouchi's face went pale. "Kaiba's already down fifteen cards—almost half his Deck!"
"Deck-out pressure plus Graveyard lockdown… she's built a complete cage," Yami Yugi said, eyes narrowed.
Isis pressed on, voice calm.
"Then, if Exchange of the Spirit is in my Graveyard, I can set a Trap from my Graveyard onto my field."
She slid a card from her Graveyard and set it.
"I set two more cards. End turn."(Hand: 2)
Marik laughed again. "You hear that, Kaiba? Keep this up and big sister will grind your Deck to dust!"
Kaiba's eyes flashed. "Shut up. When I drop Obelisk, I'll turn you—and her—into rubble."
"My turn—draw!"
"I Normal Summon Keldo the Sacred Protector in Attack Position!"
Keldo the Sacred Protector appeared, solemn and imposing.
"Now Keldo's effect: I can banish this card to target up to five cards in either Graveyard, then shuffle them into the Deck."
Isis banished Keldo, selected cards, and returned them—then shuffled.
"That widens the deck-count gap," Yami Yugi said. "If Kaiba can't stop her, he'll run out of cards first."
Isis immediately followed up.
"I activate Gravekeeper's Trap again. I discard one card and add Mudora the Sword Oracle to my hand."
Kaiba's eyes cut across the field.
"I won't let you keep that Trap."
He slammed a card onto his Duel Disk.
"I activate the Continuous Trap Nightmare of the Abyss!"
Kisaragi's eyes lit slightly. "Kaiba's got the answer."
Kaiba continued, voice sharp with authority.
"By paying 1000 Life Points, I can destroy one face-up Spell or Trap."
Kaiba LP 4000 → 3000
"And the target is obvious."
He pointed directly at Isis's engine.
"I destroy Gravekeeper's Trap!"
