Zoe and Lia were still asleep when the train started emptying.
I watched people leave for a while, then leaned over and shook their shoulders at the same time.
"We've arrived at Tristam."
"AAA!" Lia shot upright.
"AAA!" Zoe grabbed the armrest.
"AAA!" I jumped back because neither of them warned me.
They both looked around the empty car, then at me, then at each other.
"We've arrived?" Zoe asked.
"Yes. I've been saying it for a few minutes, but you two decided sleeping was more important."
The guard near the door was watching us with the expression of someone who had already formed opinions about us three.
The train was now entirely empty except for us.
We grabbed our bags and ran.
Tristam wasn't a school.
