VIVIENNE's POV
A loud growl escaped the rogues mouth as it stared at me, eyes rimmed with red and jaws ticking at my words.
I bit back the urge to laugh and let my eyes fall to the two guards that held her in place. Like she wasn't just a harmless little kid.
Was the pack now low on defenses and could barely handle a little girl.
Tsk.
My eyes left the interlocked hands and flashed instantly to Roman, whose usually stoic countenance had completely faltered alongside his brothers. All four of them stood there in shock, their intimidating Alpha frames suddenly looking absurd next to the tiny, bruised captive shivering in the dim torchlight.
"Rogue? It's just a freaking kid. Why the hell do you have a freaking kid tied up in chain—"
I couldn't even finish my sentence.
In a split second, the small girl's frame blurred with terrifying, supernatural speed.
