Chapter 63: Dimensional Dragon Module
The Stepstones — Bloodstone, Main Island
"Unknown error in the dungeon mission module..."
"Reloading..."
"Dimensional Dragon Module activated..."
"Staff Caster Module activated..."
"Elemental Caster Module activated..."
"Magic item permissions fully activated..."
...Amidst a series of electronic synthesized voices, Jon, who was still in a daze, slowly opened his eyes.
After getting up, Jon hurriedly checked his physical condition. After finding no signs of dragon scales, wings, or horns, he breathed a secret sigh of relief.
After entering the underground passage of the Dragonpit of , Jon's memory seemed to have been affected, so he wasn't quite sure if he had completed the holy stone mission!
The reason Jon checked for dragon horns was entirely because of a very clear memory among his fragmented recollections: he had transformed into a fearsome dragon in a strange space.
The appearance of that dragon was exactly like the final boss of a certain game. The sensation was so vivid that Jon could still recall how he had controlled that body.
For instance, how to flap his wings to fly, how to breathe dragonfire, and how to use his body parts to move and attack.
These clear sensations were definitely not a dream, so Jon wasn't sure what he had experienced. After sorting out his thoughts, he remembered he still had system information to check.
Name: Jon Snow (Aegon Targaryen)
Class: Dragon Lord LV10
Weapon: Dark Sister
Strength: 25
Skill: 15
Speed: 16
Defense: 13
Magic: 22
Weapon Level: LV10
Items: Dragonstone, Sealing Stone, Magic Stone, Moonlight, Summoner Badge...
Soul Energy: 500,000 points
Looking at the suddenly increased level and the soaring stats, Jon felt dumbfounded. It seemed that previous experience might very well have been real.
"System... System..."
Although he knew the system was likely behind all this, Jon still wanted the system to tell him personally. Unfortunately, the system that usually contacted him proactively still gave no response.
The once-familiar system had undergone changes following the recent events.
For example, before, as long as Jon called the system, three interfaces would appear in the void before him: Item Space, System Shop, and his Attribute Panel.
But now, beneath Jon's original Attribute Panel, a new halo had appeared. When Jon clicked on it...
A massive black hole appeared directly in front of Jon and sucked him in at an incredibly fast speed.
"Ahhh..."
This sudden turn of events left Jon with no time to react. Everything around him changed rapidly before his eyes.
Space, stars, time, and many strange things flashed past Jon's eyes like a revolving lantern. After an unknown amount of time, Jon suddenly appeared in a strange black space.
This area was as black as ink. The only light source was to Jon's left. Jon had only just recovered and didn't yet understand his surroundings.
"Roar..."
Jon had intended to say "Where am I?", but as soon as the words left his mouth, they turned into a deep, resonant dragon's roar.
Startled, Jon instinctively covered his mouth, but when he raised his hand before his eyes, he was shocked to find that it had turned into an enormous dragon claw.
Despite his great surprise, Jon quickly adapted. Somehow, he felt extremely familiar with this body.
After just a short while, Jon was able to control this body to fly and move with great proficiency. At this moment, Jon was filled with power, as if he could tear through space at any time.
After controlling this dragon body to fly around the area for a while, Jon found no exits or boundaries. The only place with light was the source that had appeared at the beginning.
Precisely because of this light source, Jon didn't dare fly too far, fearing he might get lost in this strange space.
There seemed to be no boundaries of time or space here, so Jon ultimately could only return to the vicinity of the original point of light.
After leaning his head toward that position, a massive sphere appeared before Jon—or rather, what Jon could see was merely a plane.
However, in the blurred areas around it, Jon could see a rough spherical outline. This feeling was very magical, giving Jon a sense of déjà vu, as if he were looking at a "Penrose Triangle."
Soon, an interface both familiar and strange appeared before his eyes. It was familiar because it resembled the game map interfaces he had seen while playing games before.
It was strange because Jon had never seen such an interface. Rather than a map, it was more like an aerial view—the kind of image seen when looking at a planet from outer space.
However, the images Jon saw now were completely different from the world map outlines he had seen in the game.
"Wait, isn't this the map of the current world?"
After carefully examining the interface before him for a while, Jon realized that it was actually a map of Westeros and Essos.
The reason Jon couldn't determine the exact information at first was that the continental outlines displayed here were simply too realistic.
Mountains, rivers, lakes, forests—even more miraculously, Jon actually saw the massive and the towering here.
These two places truly lived up to their reputation as miraculous structures, allowing Jon to see their locations at a glance even from this extremely high vantage point.
Under Jon's dragon eyes, the world was like a game map. Among the points of light, only The Wall, King's Landing, and were blue, while the others were gray.
On the point of light for the Stepstones, there was also a miniature dragon icon. Clearly, this icon represented Jon.
After seeing the gray icon nearest to the Stepstones, a dialog box popped up before Jon's eyes.
"Spend 5,000 Soul Energy points for a Dimensional Descent?"
Having suddenly become wealthy, Jon wanted to try out this new ability. Based on the literal meaning, he understood that he should be able to perform something like a space jump or teleportation through this function.
Knowing that he now had nearly 500,000 Soul Energy points, Jon felt that spending 5,000 points for a test wouldn't hurt much.
After selecting "Yes," Jon's dragon icon began moving toward Tyrosh.
Immediately after, Jon's consciousness twisted in waves, as if he were caught in a vortex.
Tyrosh — Palace of the Archon, Inner Garden
After a bout of dizziness, Jon slowly opened his eyes. As he did, a beautiful garden appeared before him.
The garden was filled with all kinds of flowers. Their vibrant colors and enchanting fragrance instantly captivated Jon, giving him the illusion of being in a fairy-tale world.
Jon was currently wearing loose sleeping clothes, the same garments he had put on when he woke up this morning. Judging by the sun's position, he estimated he had only spent a short time in that strange space.
Looking at the winding path in the garden before him, Jon decided to explore the area along it.
Since he wasn't wearing shoes, Jon's light footsteps directly felt the soft grass beneath him. Although walking on the lawn was comfortable, Jon felt he should find some shoes and clothes.
Despite his current powerful physical constitution, if he were to encounter a lady in this attire, he would likely be mistaken for a degenerate.
Based on his memory before leaving that space, Jon was certain he had arrived somewhere in Tyrosh. When he saw this seemingly endless garden and the purple-painted domes in the distance...
Jon was sure his current location was likely the Palace of the Archon of Tyrosh, as purple had always been the favored color of the nobility of Tyrosh.
Thus, this central palace of Tyrosh had been transformed into a luxurious residence by successive Archons. Once an Archon of Tyrosh was elected, they would settle their household here.
"Ahhh..."
While Jon was admiring the beautiful scenery of the garden, a woman's scream pierced his ears.
When Jon turned his gaze toward the sound, a beautiful green-haired girl appeared in his sight.
She looked to be about seventeen or eighteen years old. Her green hair was held back by a silver headband, with a few stray curls framing her face, adding a touch of charm.
The girl seemed to be alone. At this moment, her beautiful purple eyes were filled with curiosity and scrutiny.
Her white lace-trimmed dress looked stunning against the backdrop of the breeze and sunlight.
"Uh, good day! My lady, I am sorry to have startled you. I seem to have arrived here by mistake. I swear I mean no harm!"
All names, titles, and locations are now aligned with canon terminology.
