Chapter 244 - First Arrival at Elbaf

Elbaf.

The world's strongest nation, and the land of giants.

It possessed a massive army formed from the Giants, who were hailed as the strongest race on land. Their numbers exceeded one hundred thousand.

An adult Giant possessed strength comparable to a Marine Headquarters Vice Admiral. As for one hundred thousand elite Giant warriors, there was no need to say more.

This had long been part of Roldy's plan.

After making arrangements for the Sabaody Archipelago and all the territories under his command, Mihawk remained behind to guard their headquarters. Roldy, meanwhile, brought the other four with him to Elbaf.

That mysterious kingdom of Giants!

...

The departure of Roldy's group attracted the attention of several powerful figures across the sea.

The World Government did not make any statement, and the Marines had also received orders not to interfere.

As Fleet Admiral Sengoku, he felt uneasy.

He could vaguely guess what that brat Roldy intended to do, but he could not stop him.

Putting aside the fact that rashly interfering would destroy the delicate balance between them and Roldy, the Giant Kingdom alone was not something that could be handled carelessly. One mistake could trigger a serious political incident.

The title of the world's strongest nation was no joke.

Because of Roldy's departure, the entire sea gradually regained a measure of peace.

The emperors of the New World were busy recruiting troops and annexing other forces. Pirates across the sea remained active. The World Government was busy cleaning up its own mess. The Marines wanted to expand their forces, but they had no military funding.

The World Economy News Paper had long since spread many explosive pieces of news across the sea, including, but not limited to, the riot suffered by the Holy Land of Mary Geoise.

Of course, because of the Five Elders, Roldy had still given them some face. The contents of the report were not quite that explosive.

Even so, it still stirred up considerable waves across the sea.

Ambitious powerhouses rushed into the New World one after another. No one knew how many people wanted to challenge him, but in the end, they all died beneath Hawkeye's black blade.

The few who survived no longer dared set their sights on the forces under Roldy's command.

...

The Giant Kingdom.

Elbaf.

"The world's strongest nation" was its glorious title.

The first impression everyone in the world had of the Giant Kingdom was power.

But in truth, although the Giants here were warlike, they were not brutal. They loved battle, but what they loved were open and honorable duels where a warrior's dignity was placed on the line.

They were not like the pirates on the sea who wantonly slaughtered the weak.

To them, battles like that held no meaning.

As a result, Giant warriors who acted that way would be despised by the others.

Roldy's ship had already approached the coast of Elbaf.

Although he had already expected it, when Roldy saw Elbaf with his own eyes, he could not help feeling a wave of emotion.

At the docks, several small boats were moored sparsely.

They were called small boats, but every one of them was nearly the same size as a small Marine Headquarters warship.

These were fishing boats used by Giants when they went out to sea.

Not far away, several boats could be vaguely seen floating on the sea. A few towering figures stood aboard them, holding crude spears, while several others gripped fishing nets.

They had returned with a full haul.

And inside those nets were several small Sea Kings.

Adult Giants could easily exceed ten meters in height. Some elite warriors could even reach around fifteen meters tall.

What kind of concept was that?

It was equivalent to stacking five Garps on top of one another.

They were twice as tall as Big Mom.

With bodies like that, even if they merely held the most ordinary wooden clubs, the destructive power they could unleash would still be astonishing.

Every time those Giant fishermen rowed their oars, enormous splashes of water were stirred up.

Roldy's ship was not small. It was roughly the size of a medium Marine Headquarters warship.

Several Giants had already looked over curiously. They extended their large fingers and pointed, chatting with their companions in curiosity.

"This is the Giant Kingdom, Elbaf!"

Excitement flickered in Roldy's eyes.

Why had he come to Elbaf?

For training.

To become stronger!

He possessed Giant blood as well.

That was why, even now, he had never forgotten the story Rocks had once told him about that legendary Giant king.

That man's name was Harald.

Although he was already dead, anyone Rocks considered worthy of fighting was unquestionably powerful.

While Roldy was thinking, a fishing boat had already sailed toward their group.

Everyone aboard immediately became alert, but Roldy simply raised his hand, signaling that there was no need.

He walked to the bow and looked at the Giant staring at him from afar, then smiled faintly.

"Hello, my kin."

"Oh? Kin? Young man, you aren't from Elbaf, are you? Although you do indeed carry the scent of our Giant race, your size… why do you look a little underdeveloped?"

Giants were generally friendly.

Whether toward humans or other races, they were usually kind. Toward their own people, they were especially friendly to a degree that was almost unbelievable.

Simply confirming that Giant blood did indeed flow within Roldy, this unnamed Giant warmly welcomed them onto Elbaf.

"My dear kin, Fitt Roldy greets you."

Roldy had helped many Giants before.

Those people were accustomed to placing their right arms across their chests to express respect. Roldy imitated the gesture perfectly.

The smile on the Giant's face grew even warmer, and he returned the salute in kind.

"Hello, Roldy! My name is Yelbagu! Welcome back to your homeland!"

Yelbagu's face carried a gentle smile, not only toward Roldy, but also toward Sheen and the others behind him.

"Yelbagu? So you are the famous former member of the Giant Warrior Pirates, Mr. 'Formation-Breaking Axe'!"

Before coming here, Roldy had done some homework.

Clearly, it had come in handy now.

Hearing the other party say his epithet, Yelbagu was very shocked.

After freezing for a moment, his face filled with pride, though he pretended not to care as he patted Roldy.

He warmly invited Roldy to visit their village, and Roldy readily agreed.

Under Yelbagu's guidance, they soon arrived at a Giant village.

This was everyone's first time seeing the architecture of the Giant Kingdom.

How should one describe it?

Unlike ordinary human houses, the Giants' dwellings were clearly much rougher. Most of the materials used were logs and boulders.

However, such houses were also extremely sturdy.

What greeted them head-on was a wild, ancient aura.

Elbaf was an entirely new map.

And now, it had fully unfolded before Roldy.
