(Third Person's POV)
"So she knew, then?" Asked the mastermind.
They were both seated in a room that looked like it came out of a chess game.
"Can I open the windows? It's so cold in here and it's making me nervous." Victor Montgomery said, totally avoiding the question.
The mastermind scoffed. "You're always nervous, Victor. That's not news. Now answer my question."
"Yes, she knew." He replied defeatedly.
"I see. And did you manipulate her as I had told you to?"
"Yes."
The mastermind shifted and moved closer to him. "So why then did she leave your study all riled up. She even threatened you, slapped you and told you to watch your back!"
Victor Montgomery grunted angrily.
His face was still swollen from the slap his daughter had given him earlier and he raised his hands up to touch the place.
It was still sore so he quickly removed them.
The mastermind laughed loudly.
"You look ridiculous,"
"So what's the plan now?" Ask Victor ignoring the laugh.
