(Third Person's POV)
Victor Montgomery sat before someone else. Someone he had known for almost thirty years.
Even before his daughter was born.
The mastermind behind his entire ambition. The person who had told him to do everything that he had done so far.
This mastermind had even advised him to marry his daughter to the dreaded young lord of the underground world, Damian Blackwood.
All for what? For his debts to be cleared. He had refused at first because Damian was not someone anyone played with.
But the mastermind had told him it was all going to be brief, and that he'd get his daughter back one way or another.
But things didn't look so good right now.
"Stop tapping your foot, Victor. It's irritating me." said the mastermind.
He stopped immediately. "I'm sorry, it's just that I'm so worried." He replied.
"Do you think she heard anything?" asked the mastermind.
