"Are these teeth growing in?"
After returning home, Artoria put a part of Ego's clone into the laboratory, letting Saturday analyze the molecular structure of the thing and simulate the cell division process. Artoria didn't wait for the results; instead, she went straight home. Looking at the expensive wooden table covered in small round holes, still stained with saliva, Artoria immediately thought of a possibility. She circled the room and found Mordred gnawing on the corner of the table. She didn't know when, but the child's teeth had already grown out, and now she seemed to be teething, wanting to take a bite out of anything she saw. Artoria grabbed Mordred by the scruff of her neck and lifted her in front of her. She used two fingers to pry open Mordred's mouth; two rows of small, white teeth looked like seashells. Artoria looked at the furniture chewed to pieces in the house, feeling very helpless.
"Go ahead and grind your teeth! As expected of my offspring, talented and gifted, to be so abnormal with Dragonification."
Artoria took out a metal plate and placed it in front of Mordred, saying with some emotion. Watching Mordred happily wrap her arms around the metal plate and gnaw on it, even biting out sparks, Artoria realized that this child definitely couldn't be raised like an ordinary child, or something big would happen. That's right, she might have been human when she was young, but ever since she awakened the Dragon Factor, she couldn't be counted in the category of humans anymore. A child based on her bloodline definitely couldn't be raised as an ordinary child, otherwise, something big would happen. In this situation, she could accidentally hurt someone if she wasn't careful.
"Hiccup~!"
Just as Artoria was sighing, the Little guy let out a hiccup, and a jet of flame sprayed from her mouth, instantly setting the curtain opposite on fire. Seeing this, Artoria's head hurt even more. This Little guy really wouldn't let her have a moment of peace. Artoria used telekinesis to pull the curtain down and flew it directly into the bathtub. The faucet turned on automatically, extinguishing the flames. Smelling the thick, burnt odor, Artoria felt a splitting headache.
"What happened? There's a burnt smell."
After dealing with all this, soon someone pushed open the door and walked in. It was Maria and Howard. As soon as she came in, Maria smelled a burnt odor. Howard was currently covered in things of all sizes, gasping for breath. These things were basically baby supplies. Artoria happened to see this scene and felt some emotion about her dad's difficulty. He actually dared to accompany his wife shopping; didn't he know how old he was? He was actually still doing these things. Today had really worn Howard out. Artoria watched and was afraid that Howard wouldn't be able to catch his breath and would faint.
"What did you make? Did you burn it?"
Maria didn't care at all about the marks on the surrounding furniture. Seeing Mordred gnawing on the metal plate beside Artoria, Maria stepped forward to hold Mordred, sniffed, and asked Artoria. Howard took this opportunity to quickly put the things on his body onto the sofa and rubbed his old waist, seemingly lamenting that he was old and feeling a bit powerless. Artoria glanced at Howard and hurriedly opened the window. Her physical constitution was fine; even if it were other poisons, they wouldn't affect her. Mordred, her own cub, also had no problems. Maria and Howard were ordinary people and also elderly with weak bodies; they couldn't inhale too much black smoke.
"This matter, it was actually done by the Little guy you're holding."
Replying to Maria, Artoria also knew that Maria wouldn't blame her, but some things had to be made clear to her parents; otherwise, accidentally hurting them really wouldn't be a good thing. Explaining the matter to the two of them, with Howard's IQ, he should be able to easily solve this matter. After all, in this world, he was exceptionally useful in dealing with some extraordinary matters, such as those collars that suppressed Mutant abilities.
"Could it be the X-Gene?"
Upon hearing Artoria's words, Maria didn't have much of a reaction, but Howard suddenly perked up. He walked to Maria's side, wanting to check Mordred, seemingly wanting to confirm whether Mordred was a Mutant. But he was stopped by a look from Maria. Standing two meters away from Maria, he didn't dare to get closer but didn't want to leave, clearly looking a bit awkward. It seemed Mrs. Maria had 'trained' Howard, this playboy, to be very obedient! If the late Special Agent Carter could see this outcome for the playboy of the past, she would definitely be sighing with emotion.
"Mom, just let Dad check. If other powers suddenly appear and can't be controlled, it wouldn't be good if you or the Little guy got hurt. Being able to suppress her power for a while, and returning it to her when she grows up, isn't impossible, right? Don't you think so, Dad?"
Looking at Howard's pitiful appearance, Artoria stepped forward and said to Maria. This made Howard's nose sore and exceptionally moved; truly her Father's little cotton-padded jacket, much warmer than that leather jacket. Hearing Artoria's words, Maria hesitated. She didn't care if she got hurt, as long as the little baby was okay. Looking at the well-behaved Mordred in her arms and then at Artoria on the side, Maria finally agreed to let Howard perform a check. After all, the baby's matters were the most important. In the end, Maria reluctantly handed over Mordred.
Watching Mordred being carried away by Howard, with Maria following behind Howard, they left the house together. Looking at the messy state of the house, Artoria sighed and called the construction team to have a set of furniture delivered. Rich people get things done fast; in less than an hour, the goods Artoria wanted arrived quickly. Watching the workers repainting the walls, Artoria suddenly remembered that she hadn't seen Morgan for a long time. Where had she run off to? And Galacta was also acting mysterious, disappearing without a trace. This situation made Artoria very puzzled. Galacta usually acted like a homebody, unwilling to leave the house no matter what. How come suddenly there was no one around her? Gaea didn't know where she had run off to either.
"How can she grow so fast?"
At this moment, Artoria did not know that Morgan was currently nurturing two of her babies. If she knew, she would definitely be overwhelmed. But Morgan was in no mood to be lovey-dovey with her sister right now. The two embryos in her incubation chamber were growing quite abnormally. The speed was simply too fast, even faster than when she created 'Mordred'. Back then, she didn't care how long Mordred would live and used growth-accelerating drugs, but this time, she hadn't used any drugs that would overdraft their potential. Now that the two embryos were in this state, it made her think she had accidentally added such drugs, but after checking, she found she hadn't made any such drugs; there weren't any in the lab, so how could she have accidentally added them?
"Is this situation good or bad?"
Morgan's expression made Galacta, who was eating beef chunks nearby, instantly alert. Could it be that her cute little babies wouldn't be able to come to her side? She hurriedly asked Morgan, who was stunned by this sudden situation. She didn't want anything to happen to her and Artoria's little babies; otherwise, how could she play with them?
"I'm not entirely sure either, but according to the computer you brought, there's nothing particularly abnormal. Although the cell division speed is very fast, the energy and vitality within the cells are very vigorous; there's no doubt about that. The two embryos are very healthy, healthier than we imagined. They are very likely to come into this world earlier than expected."
Facing Galacta's inquiry, Morgan said quite troubledly. She stared carefully at the instrument Galacta had brought from who knows where; this computer was much more advanced than those on Earth. Morgan looked at the data displayed on the computer, which showed the two babies were very healthy. While relieved, she also seemed to have found the reason. If it were a problem with the cells, her own methods couldn't possibly cause such an effect. Galacta might have been able to, but since the embryo belonging to her and Artoria was also in this state, the problem must lie with Artoria. Perhaps the cell energy and vitality in Artoria's body were extremely powerful, which is why this situation occurred.
