One week later.
It was a quiet, lazy Sunday morning.
"Jay, please..." Keifer groaned, trailing right behind Jay like a completely lovesick puppy.
He followed her every step as she walked out of the bedroom and down the long hallway.
Jay pressed her lips together into a tight, firm line, her stomach muscles clenching as she tried everything in her power not to burst out laughing.
She kept her head held high, looking straight ahead and pretending to completely ignore his existence as she started walking downstairs.
"Jay..." Keifer pleaded, his voice dropping into a low whine.
Ignored. Jay just gripped the wooden banister and took another step down.
"Sweetheart, please..." he tried again, leaning a bit closer to her shoulder.
Jay's heart skipped a heavy beat at the sweet nickname, sending a little thrill through her chest.
But she swallowed it down, kept her face totally blank, and... ignored him.
"My vampire... just one," he muttered, his deep voice sliding into that smooth, possessive tone that usually made her melt instantly.
Her entire face turned a bright, sudden red at the reminder of her nickname, but she stubbornly kept her eyes locked on the staircase.
Still... ignored.
"Please, just one..." Keifer begged, his broad shoulders slumping as he walked down the steps sideways just to try and catch her eye.
Ignored.
"I didn't get any since this morning, please..." he complained, his dark eyebrows knitting together into a deep pout.
Ignored.
"Just one kiss... please..."
For the past hour, Keifer had been trying his absolute hardest to get just one tiny kiss from his girlfriend.
But Jay was having way too much fun watching the terrifying, stoic Alpha completely unravel, enjoying every single second of ignoring him.
Ignored.
Finally having enough of the silent treatment, Keifer stopped dead in his tracks right on the middle of the staircase.
He drew himself up to his full height, his chest puffing out.
"Jay-jay!" he barked authoritatively, using his best commanding voice.
The sudden change in his tone worked.
Jay stopped walking and turned back around to look up at him, raising a single, sharp eyebrow in challenge.
Keifer stared down at her, his jaw set as he enunciated every single word with absolute seriousness.
"I. Want. A. Kiss."
Jay didn't say a word.
She simply gave him a tiny, amused smirk, turned right back around, and continued walking down the stairs, completely ignoring his command.
Keifer's tough, authoritative posture immediately deflated.
He went right back to sulking, his shoulders dropping as he hurried down the remaining steps after her.
"Jay-jay..."
But Jay ignored him, her feet hitting the polished floor of the main living room.
She kept walking toward the dining area, but this time, Keifer didn't follow.
He completely stopped right in the center of the grand foyer, realizing that his quiet begging wasn't working at all.
"Jayyy! Please give me a kissssss!"
he sulked, his voice ringing out incredibly loud and desperate across the open room.
The loud shout echoed through the entire downstairs area.
Instantly, every single maid, butler, and servant working in the vicinity froze in their tracks.
Their heads snapped up in absolute shock, their eyes wide as they stared directly at their billionaire master was currently begging for a kiss like a stubborn toddler.
Jay snapped her head back around in absolute shock, her mouth dropping open.
She had never, in a million years, expected the fearsome Alpha to throw a public tantrum in front of the entire household staff.
"Keifer..." she hissed out under her breath, her face burning.
"What 'Keifer'?" he responded stubbornly, taking large strides forward until he was right in her space.
"You're the one who has been ignoring me all morning. Please."
Before she could even take a step back, he reached out and gently cupped her face with both of his large hands.
The warm touch made her entire face turn a furious, bright red.
All around the foyer, the maids and servants stood completely frozen, their eyes wide as they watched the live romance drama unfold right in front of them like a real-life Netflix series.
"Sweetheart, please," Keifer murmured, his deep voice softening into a desperate plea as he looked down at her.
"I can't live without it."
Jay's heart hammered wildly against her ribs.
She couldn't even explain the chaotic mix of emotions swirling inside her.
A loud, screaming part of her brain was yelling:
Just pull him close, Jay, and give him exactly what he wants!
But the other, incredibly shy part of her was panicking:
Everyone is watching us!
Keifer slowly bent down to her level, his face getting closer and closer, closing the distance between them.
The intense eye contact made Jay's knees go weak, and against her better judgment, her eyelids began to flutter shut, totally ready to give in.
.

.
.
.
"What's happening here?"
Mrs. Watson's sharp voice suddenly rang out as she walked out of the kitchen.
She stopped in her tracks, looking around in deep confusion at all the maids and servants who were completely frozen like statues.
The sudden interruption shattered the moment.
Jay's eyes snapped open, and she pulled away from Keifer quickly, her usual nervousness taking over instantly.
Keifer let out a heavy, defeated sigh, his shoulders slumping as his arms dropped back to his sides.
Panicking and looking for an escape route, Jay completely ignored Keifer and ran straight toward his mother.
"Mommm..." she whined softly, throwing her arms around Mrs. Watson and hugging her tightly.
It had become a completely normal thing in the house over the past week-just pure, sweet mother-daughter love.
Mrs. Watson's strict expression instantly melted into a warm smile.
She wrapped her arms around Jay, rubbing her back gently.
"Anak? What happened, dear?"
"Mom...umm.... ice cream?" Jay asked into her shoulder, her voice sounding small and hopeful.
Hearing her favorite daughter's sweet request, Mrs. Watson completely forgot about the frozen maids and everything else.
She let out a happy chuckle, pulling back slightly to look at Jay's red face.
"Oh, you are such a kid! It's in the freezer, go get it."
"Thanks, mom!" Jay cheered. Stealing one quick, mischievous glance at a very frustrated Keifer, she spun on her heel and practically ran into the safety of the kitchen.
"Keifer?"
Mom asked, turning around and raising a sharp eyebrow at him.
"Why are you standing there frozen like a statue?"
"Seriously, mom? You're asking me that?" he muttered under his breath, crossing his arms and looking completely defeated.
Mrs. Watson narrowed her eyes slightly.
"Did you say something, young man?"
"No... nothing," Keifer said quickly.
He cleared his throat, uncrossed his arms, and smoothly wrapped one arm around his mom's shoulders, gently guiding her forward.
"Let's go."
They walked into the kitchen together, only to see Jay happily eating her ice cream.
She was leaning against the marble counter, resting her elbows on the surface, completely lost in her sweet treat.
Keifer immediately slipped away from his mother and took a step forward, standing right beside Jay.
He leaned in slightly, looking down at her bowl.
"Jay, you're eating ice cream?"
"Yes, it's my favourite" she said simply, holding up her bowl to show him with a small, triumphant smile.
Keifer turned his head to look back at his mother, a mischievous glint in his dark eyes.
"Mom, you know what? Ice cream isn't actually her most favorite thing."
Mom stopped walking and looked at him, confused.
"No, it is! It's my absolute favorite," Jay argued back immediately, defending her beloved dessert.
"No, Jay, it's really not," Keifer teased, his voice dropping into a smooth, testing tone.
He looked back at Mrs. Watson.
"Mom, can you imagine her ever saying no to ice cream?"
Mom shook her head with a small chuckle, knowing full well that Jay would absolutely die for ice cream.
"But she did," Keifer continued smoothly, tilting his head.
"Once, I offered her ice cream, but she completely denied it."
"Really?"
Mom asked, her curiosity genuinely piqued.
Jay blinked, looking up at him with a deeply confused expression.
She couldn't remember ever turning down dessert.
"Yes," Keifer said, a heavy smirk spreading across his lips as he stepped a little closer to Jay.
"Last week, I asked her if she wanted ice cream. She looked right at me and said, 'I don't want ice cream.' She said she wanted to eat..."
"To eat what?" Mom asked, stepping closer, completely invested in the story.
"To eat..." Keifer dragged out the word, his eyes locked onto Jay.
Slowly, he lifted his right hand and subtly pointed his index finger directly at the faint hickey on his neck.
He did it perfectly at an angle where only Jay could see his hand movement.
The moment Jay saw his finger pointing at the mark, her mind short-circuited.
Realizing exactly what he was about to blabber to his mother, she didn't let him finish his sentence.
Her hands flew up with lightning speed, slamming right over Keifer's mouth to muffle his words.
"Nothing, mom! Nothing! Ice cream is my most favorite thing in the entire world!"
she blubbered out in a breathless panic.
Her entire face instantly exploded into a furious, bright red shade, the blush crawling all the way down her neck.
Keifer gently caught her wrists with his strong fingers and pulled them away from his face, a victorious smirk playing on his lips.
Jay looked at him, her eyes wide as she practically begged him with her gaze.
Please no, not here, she silently pleaded, her bottom lip trembling just a bit from pure embarrassment.
Keifer's smirk only widened.
He leaned in just an inch closer and silently mouthed back to her,
What will I get?
Jay's eyes darted to Mom and then back to him.
She quickly mouthed, Whatever you want.
A kiss, he mouthed back instantly, his dark eyes locked onto hers.
Jay frantically shook her head, her lips forming a silent, No!
Keifer raised his eyebrows playfully and shrugged, opening his mouth to speak out loud.
"Okay then-Mo-"
"Okay, okay, please!" she whispered frantically, cutting him off before he could shout for his mother.
He smirked, completely satisfied with his victory.
Meanwhile, Mom was just standing a few feet away, watching the two of them interact with both of her eyebrows raised high up on her forehead, perfectly aware that something mischievous was going on.
Keifer cleared his throat and looked back at his mother, his tone turning completely casual.
"Yes, mom, ice cream is her favorite."
"But..." before Mom could even get a word out or question them further, Keifer completely took control of the situation.
"Mom, we'll talk to you later," Keifer interrupted smoothly, a confident smile on his face.
"Jay just needs my help with her university presentation, so we'll be right back."
Before Jay could even protest or finish her ice cream, Keifer turned and began walking out of the kitchen, holding her wrist firmly but softly in his grip as he dragged a very red, very flustered Jay along behind him.
Hr didn't stop walking until they were deep into the quiet hallway, well out of his mother's line of sight.
He slowed his steps and finally let go of Jay's wrist, turning around to face her fully.
Jay stepped back a little, her shoulders gently coming to rest against the cool hallway wall.
She looked up at him, her heart doing a nervous, happy little flutter.
Her cheeks were still warm, glowing a beautiful, bright shade of pink from the kitchen drama.
"You are a total blackmailer, Keifer,"
she whispered softly, a shy, playful smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
She looked down at his chest, her fingers nervously tracing the soft fabric of her own top.
Keifer let out a low, gentle chuckle that vibrated warmly in the quiet space between them.
He took a slow step closer, closing the distance until she could feel the gentle warmth radiating from him.
His dark eyes softened completely, filled with pure, quiet adoration as he looked down at her.
"I'm not a blackmailer, sweetheart,"
he murmured, his voice dropping into a smooth, quiet whisper meant only for her.
"I'm just a guy who has been waiting all morning for a single kiss.
You broke my heart a little on the stairs, you know."
Jay bit her inner lip, a tiny laugh escaping her as she looked up through her eyelashes.
The closeness made her a bit shy, but it was a sweet, comfortable kind of shyness.
"But... what if a maid walks past? Or mom?"
"Let them," Keifer said softly, though a small, teasing smile played on his lips.
He raised his hand, his long fingers incredibly gentle as he tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear.
His fingertips lingered on her cheek for a brief second, his touch as light as a feather.
"A deal is a deal, Jay-jay. You promised me whatever I wanted."
Jay looked into his warm eyes, all her remaining embarrassment melting away into pure sweetness.
She couldn't stay away from him when he looked at her like that.
Moving a little closer, she slid her hands up his chest, her palms resting over his steady, calm heartbeat.
She stood up on her tiptoes, tilting her chin up.
"Just a soft one," she whispered shyly, her eyes fluttering shut.
"Just a soft one," Keifer breathed against her lips.
He leaned down the rest of the way, kissing her with an overwhelming tenderness.
It wasn't rushed or hurried; it was a slow, quiet, and incredibly sweet kiss that felt like a warm promise.
Keifer's hands moved gently to her waist, his palms resting warmly against her hips, holding her as if she were the most precious thing in the world.
Jay's hands naturally slid up to his shoulders, her fingers lightly gripping his t-shirt as she completely lost herself in the gentle rhythm of the kiss.
The hallway, the kitchen, and the rest of the world completely faded away.
When Keifer finally pulled back a fraction of an inch, his hands stayed resting gently on her hips.
He looked down at her dazed, beautifully flushed face, his eyes shining with absolute happiness.
"There," Keifer murmured, his thumb softly brushing back and forth against her waist.
"I think I can survive the rest of the day now. So, tell me about this university presentation we have to do..."
Before he could finish his sentence, Jay smiled up at him, her shyness turning into pure affection.
She leaned in one more time and gave him a quick, soft peck right on the corner of his mouth.
Keifer let out a long, happy sigh, his whole expression softening as a lazy grin spread across his face.
"Wow... if I get extra rewards like that for threatening to tell Mom, I should probably blackmail you more often."
Jay burst into a sweet, bubbly laugh at his ridiculous logic. Shaking her head, she leaned forward and rested her forehead gently against his broad chest, her shoulders shaking with laughter.
Keifer chuckled softly and wrapped his large, strong arms securely around her, pulling her close against his chest and resting his chin comfortably on top of her head.
