A System message stirred me awake. It was the first time I received a message from the System in my sleep, and I wanted nothing more than to ignore it. Fern was still snuggled against me, her warm breath brushing against my breath. Feeling her softness pressed against me made me want to fall back asleep, to embrace her even tighter and to stay where I was for the next few days, if not weeks.
Nonetheless, I checked the System message out. After all, I felt something within me change. My Core felt stronger than it used to, my muscles twitched and rippled as they grew tougher, and my thoughts were sharper than they used to be.
Everything, be it body, mind, and soul grew stronger right after I received the System message.
Insignia has grown. Status of a [Baron] has been attained. You may now appoint a Captain.
Baron. That sounded an awful lot like the noble titles from the Zetrian Empire.
