Yo , I honestly prefer the Hellboy reboot where he fought Giants and a blood queen , but many may not agree with me. So y'all can choose , which one is better?

"So , you still haven't told me if you need him alive or dead Mr. Van Hellsing."
Riley asked again so that he could maintain that mysterious yet ultimately ignorant image , besides he couldn't act too smart ontop of being powerful , that would be unsettling , considering his age.
People fear unrefined power way less than they fear refined precise power with , so he had to abit childishly dull and attach himself to Van hellsing completely to be safe.
"He is wanted alive." Van Hellsing replied in an exasperated tone.
Riley floated down and his glowing bright golden legs solidified back to normal then chose to leave the rest to Van Hellsing to handle.
"So what are we going to hunt next , is it a wraith , or a vampire."
Van Hellsing was silent for a long time just looking at Mr. Hyde's sleeping form then he turned to Riley and pulling an old chest sat on it with a sigh.
"Atleast tell me your name and what you want."
Thinking for a couple of seconds on what to reveal while stroking his chin , Riley answered as honestly as he could.
"My name is Riley and I am mostly here to assist you and meet new people.
My mom says I don't have many friends so I decided to make some , and you look interesting."
Though the friend part was forced so that he sounded more childish , Riley was genuine about Van Hellsing being interesting because of his true Origins and name.
Plus , his mom had actually told him when he was five , through a letter , that he had isolated himself so much that he probably had very few or even possibly no friends.
Van Hellsing scrutinized Riley for almost half a dozen minutes just to make sure he wasn't lying then decided to reluctantly believe him.
The main problem that Van Hellsing was facing at that moment was transporting Mr. Hyde , who had transformed back into Dr. Henry Jekyll , without making a scene.
"Are we going to wait for him to wake up Mr. Van Hellsing."
Van Hellsing didn't reply and went down the stairs to the other rooms leaving Riley alone with the unconscious Doctor.
'Can't he just ask for help....actually never mind , I get it.'
Of recent Riley had begun to understand what it mean to have pride , particularly due to his Dragon evolution , and he knew how important it was to defend and maintain that pride.
There was absolutely no way that Van Hellsing was going to ask him for help given that he was a stranger , had strange powerful abilities and refused to tell the monster hunter his race.
Without a word , Riley gathered magical energy from the air and willed a basketball sized flame into existence with the ambient magic fueling it under his control.
Given the existence of Vampires and werewolves, , it was not all that surprising that magical energy flowed through the air. But the strange part was how tainted and corrupted the magic was.
Riley wasn't a master in controlling magical energy but even then , he had natural born talent in manipulating ambient magic. The fact that he felt considerable difficulty in controlling this magic made it clear how tainted it was.
For this reason, , Riley didn't want to use his own magical energy because then his secondary heart would automatically begin absorbing the tainted magical energy in the air to use in generating more Cosmic Ether.
Luckily , his current human form could be maintained with very little Cosmic Ether and with his current reserves he could last even a week shapeshifted and only use about 2% of his overall magic.
The fact that his Shapeshifting was not natural still pissed him off though because he clearly remembered children of Loki simply thinking of changing shape and doing it.
It felt like he didn't even truly have any relation to the God of Lies given that the only think he seemed to inherit are magical versions of the trickster God's abilities and no Divine power or abilities from him.
Before , Riley could get even more irritated by his apparent lack of Divine abilities from his maternal grandfather , he remembered his current capabilities , abilities and potential for growth.
By the time Van Hellsing came back , Riley was smiling widely again and his irritation had completely faded.
Van Hellsing took one long look at the floating flame heating up their surroundings then crouched over Dr. Henry to wrap him up.
When they finished , Van Hellsing tossed the doctor over his shoulder and carried him out sneakily then started walking towards his horse in the distance.
Naturally , Riley followed but this time in silence because his mind was very far.
With the Kizaru Template nearing full integration , Riley now had to turn his attention to both creating new techniques and developing his abilities further , then there was also combining the techniques , magic and everything he would learn with the even stronger destructive light.
'I put myself at about island level right now in abilities alone , but even counting my physical abilities which are already monstrous and still rising , that is far from enough to survive Olympian family drama.'
Riley was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't notice that they had reached where Van Hellsing had tied up his horse.
" Why are you still following me?" Asked Van Hellsing when Dr. Henry was safely secured on the horse.
Riley didn't even turn to the monster hunter and continuing to theorize useful new techniques and moves for his powers , but he still answered Van Hellsing.
"You will need all the help you can get , trust me on that."
It wasn't meant to be ominous but Van Hellsing paused on hearing that then shrugged and climbed the horse.
He turned to look at Riley for a few seconds then said in the most threatening tone he could muster. "I still don't trust you but you helped so you can come.
Step one foot out of line and you lose your head got it."
Before Van Hellsing's threat was fully delivered , Riley had already turned his head and snapped out of his thoughts.
It wasn't Van Hellsing's threat that registered but the sense of danger registered by his instincts and Haki , both of which sensed a genuine threat from Van Hellsing.
'That prescence.... he really is an Arch angel. Perfect.'
