When Peter stepped out of his room, he found a strange man in a tight red suit standing at the top of the stairs, whistling a cheerful tune as if completely lost in his own world.
Peter froze, this scene was truly unexpected.
He awkwardly greeted the strange man.
The man turned around, revealing a dazzling smile and a roguish smirk.
Deadpool casually threw an arm around Peter and pointed at himself with his thumb. "Let me tell you, your Uncle Ben only survived because of this badass's Horse Talisman."
His tone dripped with smugness.
"Kid, remember this handsome devil's name is Deadpool. You can call me 'hottie' if you want—I personally think 'hottie' suits me better."
Peter forced an awkward smile and thanked him. "Thank you for saving my uncle. I'm Peter Parker."
Though Peter didn't recognize this self-proclaimed Deadpool and was curious about his connection to Chen Ye, he guessed he'd only saved Uncle Ben out of respect for Chen Ye.
Peter didn't believe he possessed any special ability that would make this stranger save him for no reason.
When Deadpool heard Peter's name, his expression turned exceptionally surprised, his jaw nearly dropping.
He stared at Peter, his eyes gleaming with excitement, and then made a gesture of shooting webs.
"So you can do this too, right?" Deadpool asked, his voice filled with anticipation.
Peter was taken aback by the question. He looked at Deadpool's gesture and suddenly understood.
He mimicked the web-shooting motion, a surge of power erupting from his wrist as he formed a thin, strong strand of webbing.
Deadpool's face lit up with satisfaction.
He hadn't expected to encounter another Peter Parker in this universe, and one who possessed the same abilities as Miles.
*I wonder if the Peter from my universe, the one who's always yapping about being a superhero, will end up like this Spider-Man one day?*
Peter was deeply curious about how Deadpool knew he had gained superpowers.
Ever since he gained his superpowers, it felt like everyone knew.
Whether it was the previous Kamen Rider, the Deadpool standing before him, or even Chen Ye, they all seemed to know his powers inside and out.
This made him desperate to know why.
Deadpool watched Peter's curious expression, a playful smirk curling his lips.
"You really want to know why I know about your little trick, huh?" he asked.
Peter nodded eagerly, his eyes full of anticipation.
But Deadpool didn't give him the answer directly.
He paused, then said in a teasing tone, "This badass isn't telling you. If you want to know, go ask Chen Ye. I've got babes to bang. Bye-bye."
With that, he tugged at his right eye with his finger and stuck out his tongue in a silly face.
Then he turned and leaped out the window, leaving Peter standing alone.
Peter stared wordlessly at Deadpool's retreating back and rolled his eyes.
*Are all the people here like this?* he couldn't help but wonder. But he didn't have time to ponder the question.
His heart burned with a desperate need for answers, so he resolved to find Chen Ye and demand an explanation.
Just as Peter was about to head downstairs, Deadpool climbed in through the window.
Deadpool braced himself against the window frame and asked Peter, "Hey, do you have an Aunt May around? A beautiful lady in her thirties who's still got it?"
But Deadpool was secretly hatching his own scheme.
He suddenly realized that if this was the same Peter Parker, there might be an Aunt May here too.
He'd failed to "woo" Aunt May in that other universe; maybe he could try his luck in this one.
A sly glint flashed in Deadpool's eyes at the thought.
Peter, though puzzled by the question, answered honestly, "Yeah, Aunt May and Uncle Ben raised me, but if I remember correctly, she's over sixty. You might have the wrong person." Peter's tone was firm, absolutely certain he wasn't mistaken. How could the gray-haired Aunt May possibly be in her thirties?
A flicker of disappointment crossed Deadpool's face at Peter's answer.
He had hoped to find a new purpose in this universe, but Aunt May turned out to be much older than he had imagined.
With a final vanishing act, Deadpool disappeared from the window again.
Peter watched in bewilderment as Deadpool vanished.
He couldn't understand why Deadpool had suddenly mentioned Aunt May or why he was disappointed by her age.
Still, Peter didn't dwell on it. His priority now was to go downstairs and find Chen Ye.
Chen Ye was discussing the future development of the Hell's Kitchen school with Doctor Octopus when he saw Peter coming down the stairs.
Chen Ye paused his conversation with Doctor Octopus and smiled at Peter. "You're down."
Peter approached Chen Ye, his eyes filled with gratitude and respect.
He bowed deeply and said sincerely, "Thank you for saving my uncle. And I'm sorry."
Peter's apology was directed at Chen Ye.
Previously, Peter had mistakenly believed that Chen Ye possessed the ability to save his uncle but was unwilling to do so, leading him to harbor resentment.
However, as events unfolded, Peter gradually realized his misjudgment and felt deeply remorseful.
Chen Ye waved his hand, signaling Peter not to worry about it.
Then he heard the System's notification:

Doctor Octopus, standing nearby, seemed to have deep emotions in his eyes.

Perhaps he was remembering that moment that tore his heart to shreds—the moment he chose to jump into the river in front of Peter, that moment of desperate resolve and helplessness.
Still, Doctor Octopus was still very happy to see Peter again.
Peter seemed to have grown numb to everyone recognizing him and simply greeted Doctor Octopus.
"You seem to know me too. Have we met before?" Peter couldn't help but ask.
Every word Peter spoke revealed his inner confusion and anxiety.
Peter's emotions were exceptionally complex, his mind filled with questions that grew like wild vines, twisting around his heart.
He wanted to know the truth behind all this. He wanted to know why everyone recognized him. He was just an ordinary high school student—how could he have attracted so much attention?
Chen Ye seemed to notice Peter's confusion and spoke slowly, "Don't rush. It's not just us who know you. There's someone else who knows you and wants to see you."
Peter looked at Chen Ye with a puzzled expression and asked, "Who?"
Just then, a large pile of sand suddenly appeared before Peter's eyes.
This sand shouldn't have been in the living room, but it seemed to come to life, slowly coalescing and gradually forming a human figure.
