Chapter 77 - The Three Great Illusions of Life - I can counter-kill

The Kamen Rider Peter Parker saw was Chen Ye, who hadn't expected to encounter the panicked Peter so soon after leaving his house.

Observing Peter's eyes, Chen Ye understood that he hadn't yet adapted to his sudden spider abilities.

This power was both a gift and a challenge for Peter. As a senior, Chen Ye decided to offer the future Super Hero some necessary care and guidance.

In Chen Ye's eyes, if the story unfolded as in the movies, Peter might struggle against enemies like Doctor Octopus, even facing outright defeat.

Now, however, they were facing more than one Doctor Octopus. This situation made Chen Ye feel compelled to intervene personally and help Peter better master and utilize his abilities.

Peter gazed at the Kamen Rider before him, his heart brimming with excitement.

He had always idolized Kamen Riders, and now he was actually close to this hero, which filled him with indescribable joy.

He admired the blue and white armor, his heart filled with reverence and envy. He almost couldn't resist reaching out to touch it.

"Can I get a photo with you?" Peter asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

For Peter, this was more than just a simple photo opportunity; it was a manifestation of his reverence and yearning for heroes.

However, Peter noticed that the Kamen Rider before him didn't immediately respond. Instead, he gazed at Peter with a profound and silent intensity.

A sense of unease began to stir within Peter. He sensed that something was amiss.

Seeing Peter, who was now trying to flee, Chen Ye extended his right hand. Behind Peter, a golden circle of light materialized instantly.

Chen Ye intended to use the portal to transport Peter to an uninhabited place and teach him a lesson. After all, the crowd and prying eyes here made it impossible for him to act freely.

In an instant, Chen Ye flashed before Peter and kicked him through the portal.

Peter had never anticipated such a turn of events and could only passively be sent through the portal.

When Peter tumbled out of the portal, he looked around and found himself in a desolate, uninhabited place, with nothing but endless plains stretching to the horizon.

Confusion and fear filled Peter's heart. He didn't know where he was or what the Kamen Rider intended to do to him.

As if sensing Peter's bewilderment, Chen Ye spoke slowly, "Do you want to become a hero? Then let me see your resolve."

Transformed into Kamen Rider Eternal, Chen Ye began his assault on Peter.

Peter had only recently acquired Spider-Sense, a ability that granted him spider-like reflexes and intuition. However, he was still struggling to fully control this power. In the initial exchanges, he could barely react in time.

But as Chen Ye's attacks grew increasingly relentless, Peter found himself floundering, desperately dodging at times and being brutally struck at others. Despite his best efforts to defend himself, he was repeatedly sent reeling, spitting blood from Chen Ye's relentless assault.

Chen Ye looked down at the bloodied Peter and said coldly, "Is this all you've got? I've seen others with the same power as you, and they weren't nearly this pathetic."

His words pierced Peter's pride like needles.

"Someone like you is still a worthless piece of trash, even with superpowers! You might as well go back to being bullied like you always were!"

Chen Ye continued to taunt Peter, trying to ignite his will.

Lying on the ground, Peter felt a surge of frustration. He had been inexplicably dragged into this fight and beaten senseless. Even after gaining superpowers, he was still being bullied just like before.

Every day, he endured the mockery and bullying of others, as if his very existence was meant to be their entertainment.

Peter had had enough of this life. His eyes blazed with fury, his fists clenched, his teeth gritted so tightly he thought they might crack. He summoned every ounce of strength to resist the overwhelming sense of helplessness, forcing his exhausted body to stand.

He glared at Chen Ye before him and roared, "I won't be bullied anymore! I will become a Super Hero revered by ten thousand!" His voice rang with unwavering resolve.

Then, he lunged at Chen Ye, throwing a wild punch.

However, his attack was chaotic and undisciplined. Chen Ye easily dodged and said, "Being a Super Hero isn't just about talking. You need to learn to use your Spider-Sense."

With a swift kick, Chen Ye sent Peter flying several meters across the ground.

Peter landed hard, but he refused to give up.

Chen Ye's words jolted him awake. He realized that to become a true Super Hero, anger and determination alone wouldn't suffice. He had to master his Spider-Sense to defeat the enemy before him.

So, Peter began to focus, trying to integrate his Spider-Sense into his attacks.

He closed his eyes, focusing on his surroundings, trying to capture every subtle sound and scent.

In his perception, Chen Ye's movements slowed and became crystal clear, as if the entire world had come to a standstill.

Watching Peter's persistent efforts, a flicker of admiration crossed Chen Ye's eyes.

He intensified his attacks, hoping to push Peter to adapt better to combat.

As he attacked, he also taught Peter how to better utilize his Spider-Sense and web-slinging abilities.

He told Peter that to become a true Super Hero, one needed not only strength and speed, but also the ability to skillfully employ one's skills and intelligence.

Under Chen Ye's guidance, Peter tirelessly improved. His attacks grew more precise, and his reaction time quickened.

He began to skillfully manipulate his webs, entangling Chen Ye and restricting his movements.

His strikes became swifter and more powerful, and he found himself trading blows evenly with the masked Kamen Rider before him.

Peter's excitement surged, convinced he could defeat the Kamen Rider. He shouted, "My turn!"

He then lunged at Chen Ye.

Chen Ye sneered. "Let me teach you something extra: never underestimate your enemy, and never overestimate your own abilities."

His words dripped with mockery and contempt, as if to tell Peter he still had a long way to go.

Then, Chen Ye pressed a USB drive on his belt.

"Eternal Maximum Drive."

"Go on, enjoy the fun of hell. I hope you can survive this attack."

Blue flames erupted from Chen Ye's right foot as he leaped into the air, transforming into a blue lightning bolt.

He plummeted downward, his leg aimed at Peter in a devastating kick.

Peter watched in terror. He knew he couldn't dodge the attack and could only brace himself to meet it head-on.
